I am sorry but the mph on the graph does not line up in 2nd gear from stock map to flashed maps. The flashes map in at a lower mph then stock. The guy running the Dyno did not have auto scale on
That gain is something else. It’s the type of mid range improvement you’d expect to see on a big twin e.g. 1198, 1199, 1299, not a 1000cc in-line 4. I’ve never seen any dyno run for any IL4 road based superbikes make that type of gain!! BMWs shift cam with the Euro5 BS restrictions and mapping removed have turned the thing in to a monster. It’s going to pull like a train from around 5k!! It’ll have Honda shitting themselves with the release of their new CBR thou SP!
I was suprised at the top end power increase to be honest. I do think they cut midrange power in low gears to make it more useable for the road. Great video
@@JaretCampisi I recall WAY BACK when you reviewed a similar beast and rode up and down the Cali coast which then inspired me to shoot for the stars, myself, and GO ALL THE WAY! Them earlier test rides were the good ol' days.
Nice job with power gains in the lower gears but I’m sure you could squeeze abit more out of the top end, my 2013 hp4 makes 204whp and 115lb-ft of torque. Same sprint filter as you but I had a van demon exhaust fitted which provides better flow than any other market exhaust and the welds are perfect 👌
Everyone bitching about warranty lol. Who cares. Bike warranties are usually 3 months to a year max unless you pay for extended. Chances are in the first yesr nothing major will go wrong and usually the shop that sells it to you will good will the repair since the bike is so new.
What I don't understand is the fact, that the (after flash) blue line ends much earlier than the old one. The end of the curve drops down far more early in the revs. E.g. 3rd gear (59hp): th-cam.com/video/KdB7yV9RXIQ/w-d-xo.html Was the line just shifted to the left? If you move it to the right until the drop down at the right is over the old one, than you will not have the 59hp gain in the middle.
The bike sounded insane on the dyno! Great improvement. That car though, oh dude. Hand me a napkin, between the bike and the car I need to wipe the drool from my beard. Haha.
Did the whole Ti pipe turned all blue after several dyno runs? Mine ti pipe has been ran for daily ride for roughly 4 years but it went blue for 2-3" length only :(
let's not forget these Brent tunes give you 50-60 hp at the wheel starting at 5K rpm and up (the dyno might read a bit low my bikes all got over 209 hp and 95 foot lbs) when you shave more weight your going to shit yourself.
jean marc Giroux damn that’s a lot of power yours made but yes you’re absolutely right. The weight savings combined with the mid range power is going to be nuts for actually riding

putting music over a dynorun is the worst thing you can possibly do
Niek Benjamins I mean you can still here the sound perfectly fine and I thought it just made it a bit more fun to watch
@@JaretCampisi all right, i got you but i personally dont like it
i got no idea why youd want more horsepower.. each to there own ..makeing mine more smooth less jerkey serging a little running under 4 thousand revs. comuting to work in traffic. is way way more my mission I'd glad loose 10 horsepower to get this .my stock bike is a rocket. flat out. I haven't worked out what I'm going to do yet ..power comanders work up top I here not down under 4 thousand. mabee a boosterplug to trick it to rich fuel a little. who knows. ???? mabee there is no fix. it's not major but it's there .I've had 2 bmw shops deal with it it's nature of beast . 18 model 12000ks.
Wow!!!! 😍🤤🤤
That bike had a fault to start with or was bogged down by california regs, you bypassed that with the flash you made 2 hp not 60.
Actually the bike did 190hp with the stock tune on the same day that they then flashed it, it made 200 hp. So it picked up 10 hp total. But it also did pick up 59 hp in the mid range is 3rd gear which is arguably more impressive and important than total HP which very many people seldomly use on the street.
@@JaretCampisi Are you blind or just stupid that you not noticed that the curves from 3td and 4td comparison are NOT in the same gear ?!!
Lean midrange so it can pass emissions, not surprising
