Your video is timely because we are winding up our 2 month road trip and are considering SO Carolina Pines mostly due to the amenities for our kids. One thing that turned us off is the $40 "resort fee" which popped up right as we were going to reserve. After doing a lot of boondocking on our road trip, and paying as little as $10/night, that "fee" is hard to justify. Why can't they just include this "fee" in the initial quote. Almost like bait and switch. Does look nice though!
Kids love it! Activities from morning until night. But it adds up. Not far from there near north Myrtle Beach is Willow Tree. Everything is included. Even the lake park and kayaks. We did a video on it last month.
Sherri & John Thanks So Much for sharing this vlog, Wow! The sights, amenities and park views were amazing! And seeing Sherri in the Purple Store was Great!! Having had the chance to stay at the former Carolina Pines, and recently at Sun Outdoors Myrtle Beach, you are 100% correct in your assessment!! Hoping senior managers at Sun Outdoors takes time to see this vlog, and take it to heart. Again, Thanks So Much for sharing this! 👍⭐️⭐️
Thank you for the recommendation! Loved the store! I was wondering if the standards had dropped. We didn't see the same resort others enthusiastically shared in videos. Appreciate the confirmation.
We were expecting the resort to be closer to the beach 🏖️ and we're a bit surprised how far away it was. Also they are still tied up in litigation over the beach club so that is no longer included.
Hi Sherri!!! You made it to my favorite color store!!! We have never been to Myrtle Beach State Park. I'll be adding to my list. Carolina Pines was so much better, than when it changed to Sun Outdoors. We noticed in the I door pool area, the hot tub needed attention. Mildew on the wall.
Glad you got everything he fixed , nothing better than burgers with a view so glad your parents got yo camp with you nice that you got them a cottage 3:41 I would not have paid for that Nasty golf cart and pleaseee don’t get me started on that nasty cabin 🤮Sorry guys when we have our sites you can come stay with us miss you guys !
Have recently been to a SunOutdoor park in Conn., NOT A GOOD experience at all; unsafe for children extra fees for "resort" on each days stay, people trying to be intimidating with political flags (corporate said this was against policy) and being aggressive around others in campground. Just NOT A PLACE I WOULD STAY!!!! will avoid this Corp park in future. I did call and was given usual "lip" service and even called corporate, no real response. After spending 175.00 per night, we just wanted a nice place to relax, that's not what we found!
What are your thoughts about Sun Outdoors?
LOVE the Buccees T shirt 😂
😊😊😊
Liking the Buc-ee’s shirt!
We love Buc-ees!
Hi, you guys are my favorite. John do you change your own oil on your rv.
Thank you! We have a great shop that changes the oil for us.

It's not Myrtle Beach (I ive in MB), it is conway SC. 30 mins from the beach, I stayed there before Sun Outdoors took over and won't go now.

Thanks for the review. Knowing a park is kid focused is good for us to know.
You bet! 👍 😊
I like burgers with a bit of "patina." 😂
🤣
Purple is a gorgeous color! Royal
Yes! Love it! 😍
I understand trees for shade, but do you worry about windy conditions? How much wind can your rv sustain parked and driving?
We won't drive if sustained winds are over 25 mph. For the awning we tend to close it if it gets windy. If it flaps then close it.
@@AmpedtoGlamp thank you. We are looking forward to start our rv journey
Nice job. I too, wondered about the lack of shade. Thx for the review. Still having issues with "trouble", I see.
Yes. The troubles with Trouble never end. Btw, we noticed most folks brought a canopy to combat the sun.
For the price it could be better, step up their game. Starting with quality management.
Yup!

The state park also has a campground with access to the beach and nature trails. Thanks for letting me know about the store! Really enjoyed it 😊💜

John the Grill Master!

That's terrible! 😣. Not a good indicator for Sun Outdoors. Thanks for sharing your experience. Seems like the problems are more widespread.
