He has such a beautiful shade of lip gloss. All we have to do is teach him to sit in a dress/pantyhose...! David looked really happy to be doing that reenactment; made me smile. &80)
Was anyone else sort of hoping that he was going to reenact the Adam Hart-davies bike/shower thing from the last section or do I just have a slightly odd mind?!
@apestaartje321 The show was notoriously unpopular within the legal profession for exactly the same reasons as Mr. Mitchell points out here. Two episodes were even banned because of their inaccuracies.
@hairinmyEYES Indeed, he reminds me of a rather 1960's Labour mentality (not in a negative way, it's basically how I am politically). Socially liberal, pro-Welfare State but supportive of traditional institutions when they work. That seems to be fairly reasonable in my view!
@KotowTV When you go to comedy gigs does the laughter irritate you? Genuinely curious, because I honestly don't notice it and a lot of people say this now. I don't think they're told when to laugh (i.e. a LAUGH light), if that's what you're saying. When you're at a thing the laughing is communal, you're all finding it funny together; maybe you laugh more than you would alone, and a titter from 200 people sounds like more, but it just doesn't really register with me.. or not as an irritant.
people that deserve a massive hug just because they are who they are (in a random order)- David mitchel, bill bailey, Stephen fry, sean lock, phil jupitus, hugh dennis .. this in not a list of the only people i like.. i like others but they are not exactly the hugging type :) .. and its not an exhaustive list so people can add or remove whoever they want :D
@SwordInAir In terms of... a certain amount of rose-tinted loking at the past? He's in favour of nationalisation of utilities, opposes the language of the Conservative party a great deal, as well as a lot of their specific policies, and is fairly socially liberal, it must be said. Obviously he gives off the air of a traditional "establishment figure", but he's not po-faced anough to engage with any one political view completely, as he's expressed in interviews. Just my impression, naturally.
Any show that allows David Mitchell to have an extended ranting period, in my books, is great :) Cheers for the upload!
David Mitchell = Angry Logic.
'Lavatorial humour' - trust David Mitchell to put it so eloquently.
I love how pleased David looks to be playing Terry at the end
ending was perfect :)
Jesus, that re-enactment was frightening xD
It's sort of the same with Bruse Forsyth, he has always looked quite old but has looked the same age for over 40 years.
Honestly, David is just so endearing.
Why do I want to throw my arms around David Mitchell and kiss his cheek? He's such a darling, and funny.
Haha, absolutely laugh-out-loud hilarious, thanks for the upload! ^_^
I also love how civil all the comments are on these David Mitchell videos, lol.
Thanks for putting this up kanizu00! I love David Mitchell so I really enjoyed this! :]
David is right, the premise of a rogue judge sounds absolutely laughable.
This show was brilliant.. I have no idea why it was practically abandoned
I love Terry and June!
And David Mitchell too so this made my day!
:)
When David whispers into Seans ear about which act he wanted to act out i pretended david said im in love with Elleni Sloan :p
haha david's face at the end
i love david mitchell!!
From the thumbnail you can tell this is gunna be good xD
Two of the best in the game..
Only a monster could hate June Whitfield.
Sean lock dressed up as June Whifield that is almost treasonable. Not only that i was just about to have my dinner. Need i say more
3:16
Sounds like David Mitchell won't like House M.D
its all about sean lock!
Exactly!
It just goes to show you can't be too careful!
It also contains egg whites as well apparently.
great upload. david mitchell is hilarious
Mitchell = legend!
And that, ladies and gents, is why Brit comedy rules the waves. Sail ~~~ on.
The end made me laugh! LOL
I was expecting the velocipede shower reënacted
@255ad Lool love that view point.
haha love Mitchell
@WalterLiddy No,the clip was taken completely out of context.
Exactly 155,555 views. That's awesome.
He has such a beautiful shade of lip gloss. All we have to do is teach him to sit in a dress/pantyhose...! David looked really happy to be doing that reenactment; made me smile. &80)
Not the Martin Short I was expecting.
@LlamasOnAcid nice one!
@fr0ber all I think when I see that comment is "hope fry or Mitchell don't die to restore the balance"
Hey, Sealed Knot reffrance!
Hehe :D
Ahahaha!
i wouldn't recognise sean lock without his glasses lol
heh heh, David tried to break the chair at the end but couldn't, so they had to improv
@buttercupspetnagel yeah lol !!
I'm sorry, does that view number hold some significance? I found it odd the way it went from all fives to 70707.
We don't want a maverick doctor? No David, I quite enjoy House =P
Mitchell and Webb are honestly the new Fry and Laurie!
Anyone catch what David whispered to Sean?
then again, he didn't. that was Sean Lock
Four months later, and mine shows 170,707. Odd, huh?
Was anyone else sort of hoping that he was going to reenact the Adam Hart-davies bike/shower thing from the last section or do I just have a slightly odd mind?!
@jacktindale indeed an old school old Labour Tony Benn sort. Im the same way.
@acronamba Agreed.
Judge Dees, ? After seeing that clip, it should be called Judge Dredd.
lol! Sean lock as June Whitfield, possibly the most disturbing thing ive ever seen
Like the low hanging likes do we?
@Szaam is it not?
Why's that?
@apestaartje321 The show was notoriously unpopular within the legal profession for exactly the same reasons as Mr. Mitchell points out here. Two episodes were even banned because of their inaccuracies.
Is that show about the pugilistic judge for real? lol
Aaaaaaaw
i feel silly now. i have to read peoples comments through before i respond :/
thought you meant the last bit.
Is the Speedo sketch in That Mitchell and Webb look meant to be a piss take of Judge John?
@thewitchking1973 I am sure Mitchell is Fry's secret love child ;-)
Sounds like Martin Shaw would get on with Morrissey.

@fr0ber oh what because she's dead that means all criticism against her is now just slander in your eyes
@alecbg919 As long as we're being pedantic, House does surgery as well!
@255ad That's not a good conclusion at... all... lol. :)

Actually, I think Speedo was just a parody of House.
@fr0ber it's basically what you where implying
Judge john Deed taken completely out of context................I want it back :(
Has June Whitfield aged a day since 1976?
@Mayna00 surgeon not doctor
7:24 uhhh... I'm sure it's his thighs sticking together that give the illusion that he's got a... you know.
*generic comment response*
To me there's nothing odd about hating a show merely because its principles are suspect. I hate Dukes Of Hazzard for the same reason.
I´m so glad he is wearing pantyhose...
That's why I'm not a big fan of House. (although I like Hugh laurie)

@thewitchking1973 my arse can make up for jade goody
Judge Dread.
I love this show. But Quorn isn't vegan. Just saying.
@SwordInAir

Whats he referencing with the having sex w/ women for judges?
You have more than a slightly odd mind;)
Quorn's not vegan though...
Epic fail on seeing the mic ;)
This ending is so much less funny than the "man station" one with Jimmy Carr.
Quorn. Google it.
David is great, but I really don't agree with his choices :\
I don't like your face, you're dead!!
David is a genius.
Mitchell and fry make up for jade goody, big brother, bbc three, little Britain, robin hood and the worst series ever BONEKICKERS!
Oh David...So uneducated about food. I love these guys, though.
hmmmmm1988 how so?
