Very good, straight to the point. But I would say as a Beginner who needs these videos the most, you could take a slightly slower pace, like 15% so to speak... Also with maybe a few words as sprinkles on top of what you're doing, or why would go a long way for a bit of flavour in our learning process.
Thank you for the feedback! I really appreciate it! I am currently trying to balance too much talking and being straight to the point. In my other videos, I talk way too much but maybe this is a bit too little talking :D I will try to find the balance!
@@unrealfreedom1807 And ofcourse if you ever went as far as to make a Discord server for your own TH-cam Community it would provide the most feedback and more growth and engagement from those people as well... or I would think so atleast. Mostly just saying this because I would be interested in a Discord server of yours if you had one ;D
I created a discord server but I don't use discord so much so I am a bit of a newbie there. For now, it has very few channels. Here is the link discord.gg/66ZRzTab I will try to promote it more from now on! I am thinking of a twitch because I do a lot of stuff offscreen and don't upload videos about it so it may be interesting for people who want to see more.
Open the character and in the materials slot just look for the wing materials and open them and put the wing alpha to 1 to make them evil or holy you need to change the other parameters for holy and evil.
Looks like Decent video but newbie ( like me ) can't really watch cuz U re doing everything way to fast, if U re doing tutorial do it slow, cause you know how all this works, but viewers don't. Cheers
When he makes the connection in Blueprint, smack the space bar to pause and set your blueprint to match. Same with the settings in details. That's what I have to do for these videos.
I've done everything and checked it all 100 times over and my character will not leave the T pose while in game. Blend space looks great but the actual playing is just a t pose
I went through the character BP and clicked a box that allowed the mesh to do what it needed to. I'm not sure which one it was sorry for whoever else is stuck here.
"use the default character movement blueprint" okay lemme just pull that out of thin air seriously this was going so well until you just randomly pasted something with zero explanation of where it came from -- which also happened to be like the most important part of the video.
Way too fast. Even at 0.75 it's difficult to follow. You need to take time and stop on every action you do. The problem is that when you create a video, you need to understand that you make it for people who don't know how to do what you explain. You do it like "oh well, i know how to do it, let's do a speedrun and explain at the same time". So i stopped watching your video, wrote this comment and went somewhere else to learn :D

Nice video. How did you manage to get the wings on workin all the time on this character?
There is opacity parameter for the wings in the character material that you need to switch to 1
@@unrealfreedom1807 please tell me the name of the file, ive been looking for this parameter almost 2 weeks(
@@brianmj123 M_WingWebbing_HolyAndEvil2 the parameter is called WingAlpha
