Str8OuttaCronton no mate I looked into it and TH-cam just sees a view and then see that the vid had enough of an impact to get an interaction so the more likes dislikes and comments the higher up the recommended list you get. That’s why controversial vids do well.
Your biggest critics probably don’t have a camper of any description. I wanted a 110 but bought a friend’s Freelander. I put BF Goodrich KO2 tyres on and it drives fine on unsurfaced roads, but more importantly it has the Webasto heater so warms up and demists fast and is great on winter roads. It won’t do anything too difficult but is warm and comfortable for my five year old little friend who sits in the back colouring when I’m driving her and her mum around. The sound of a happy child singing to herself as she’s colouring is priceless. I might not be able to drive all the places I’d like to, but I’d rather have the entertainment in the back than be on my own wading through mud.
How can anyone dislike this, it’s a personal vehicle modified to someone taste, if they didn’t like land rovers why on earth did they watch it. Rich have you upset someone? These two comments aren’t a criticism just if it was mine, I honestly think the only real thing I would change is to add some sort of swing away dual wheel carrier on the back instead of hanging them on the door, add a lot of weight but I’ve seen rear door hinges on an 88 and 90 twist with the weight of the spare. The only thing I would add, is an external quick release gas fitting so you don’t have to lift case bottles in and out to use them. I do like really like the paint job. I’m glad the firms are wanting to work with you, 2 minute plug to get a huge give away increase channel numbers help pay for better kit, spot on. Keep up the good work rich.
wizardorlegend I get minimum of 6 thumbs down on every one the funniest one is an ex friend of the group called adventure self reliance who stalks our vids. I’d like the swing away but I’m already up to weight and with the body being coach built the doors are much stronger than Land Rover doors so are working well. Thanks pal.
I think that home made campers evolve with time, new technology and changing needs. The beauty of doing it yourself, is that it is custom to your needs and if your not happy with it you can always change it, as you have done. I really enjoyed the video Rich, thank you...
Compared to video's from a couple of years ago, your truck's REALLY coming together now. Started off as a bit of a "fixer upper" but now you've got something that you could park at a show and other people are going to look at and be inspired by. It's also great to see somebody just building what they need instead of spending wads of cash on drawer-systems, roof-tents and other gadgets.
So nice to hear you saying about the greedy walking brigade. It really annoys me that they have 98% of the country's walkways to choose from, and they want the rest as well. Makes me want to vomit with rage. Cuckin'funts. Cheers for another great video, and a lovely truck too.
I always enjoy a good tour. I wouldn't worry about doing the corporate plugs. It's always nice to know when someone is having a sale or has a new peice of gear on the market. I love a good wind storm this time of year it cleared the rest of the leaves out of my trees and all the leaves in the yard and was kind enough to share them with all my neighbors lol. Made my fall cleaning easy. I hope your meet is going well. God bless and stay safe.

Keep on making your Landy your own, she looks the nuts 👍 The diesel heaters are just great, they are very efficient and I've found once running use very little voltage too, my 100w solar in Scotland can more than compensate with reasonable light. Great video of a well prepared camper. Feel free to go on about Landys as much as you want!
