This is one of the nicest van builds I've seen! full kitchen with fridge, washroom, living room, and a full bed you don't have to fold up and down all the time? fantastic!
Well personally I think this is the best box truck conversion I've ever seen as far vans I seen some really good ones and trucks only found one that I like but that's my personally opinion
what a lovely, honest, funny sounding guy. he didn’t leave any stone unturned about the van. openly admitting some things that didn’t have a purpose but only because it looks good, things he hasn’t used but would like to someday... even mentioning copying a style of somebody else’s. no pretentiousness at all. he did sounded or looked a bit nervous (might be wrong on this, first time to hear him talk) explaining things in the beginning but for me, it added charm to the feel of the video. it’s because the emotions looked raw, unedited version of one’s real self. good job guys!
One of the things that's great about watching van tours is that you can really get a sense of someone's design capabilities (and talent!). Watching this was an amazing look into not only the (beautiful) van, but into the massive talent and ability of its owner. So incredibly impressive!
This van is truly enchanting. We were fortunate enough to spend one evening socialising in this van with the lovely Rich and when we got out we were struck by the fact we forgot we were in a van! We crawled back into our own beloved van, for the first time ever ours felt cramped, cold and quite inferior. What followed was a crazy few days of trying to find a Luton of our own to convert, Beyond put a spell on us! It was purely finances that made us stop and reflect on the fact we do really love our own van, Beyond is a seductive mistress! This film really captures Richard, and his stunning van, only wish it was longer as we didn't want it to stop 😊

To me, this is the best van conversion, you've got the right balance, really well thought out from living of grid, shabby sheek with lovely kitchen and bathroom...well done!
Great conversion. Love the dry humor commentary. ie. The close proximity of the bed to the ceiling.. “ if you’ve sat up quickly in the night once, you won’t do it again”....... Really enjoyed this conversion...
By far the best 'conversion' I've ever seen. The fellow has put tremendous thought into the build of his 'off grid home', how can it not be a 'home'. One has to appreciate the decor as he has designed his self into every aspect. Absolutly love every feature, so much thought. Congradulations to this fellow, he has accomplished a once in a lifetime dream. Oh yeah, I would live in it permanently and enjoy every minute, including the fact that if you get 'bored' with the surrounding area you can simply start your motor and move to a new spot. I wish him all the best in his journey of life.......

Boy, was I looking forward to this tour and you guys really delivered. What an amazing van! So many options, so much space and so cleverly used! He actually managed to make the van feel roomy despite all of its features. I am really impressed! No wonder it's Theo's favorite.
MiroAcronymity Folding bed on floor would have been better so you can bend and stretch and not bang your head at night, and still have a seating area, but he did say that he's not very tidy.
The trick is to use the same space for more than one function. He seems to have done this marvelously in the "living room". The decor also makes it look larger.
I can't wait until I can transition into van life. My friends and family think i am mad, as if living within ones means is an unusual concept?! This van is great inspiration!
Ok, I have changed my mind!! This is the most perfect van build ever, he is genius!! Complete kitchen, complete bathroom, comfy bed, comfy seating area with wood burning stove, solar, nothing more to need, he has thought of everything and it is very homey and light too.
Love the Luton - I had a motorcycle rack on the back of my Bedford for a 125. Very useful for getting around without searching for a place big enough to park. As a full-timer myself, I agree that a permanent bed is a must but lack of headroom can severely limit your options for the size/number of partner(s) and feasible positions!
beautiful van, beautiful woodwork throughout and some great ideas - like the extra table space (would like to have seen a pic of how it worked) and the jars screwed into the cupboard bottoms - space saving and makes a feature of them at the same time, and the 'garden area' - great idea to keep that (even if weighty) I think some folk just remove tail gates without thinking of a good use. thanks for another great vid

I 've been looking so many videos of van conversion sprinters, transits, rams, fiat... but some how this luton van conversion got me. The way the inside is setup wow the wood color.. everything looks neat. I love this conversion.
I LOVE THIS GUY! OMG! His van is one of the ABSOLUTE best because he thought of the details AND his presentation is HILARIOUS! LOVE this video! SO fantastic! I love his attitude! As an interesting note, one of the reasons I never considered a van was because I was concerned about being able to leave quickly and the idea of having to go outside to get around to the cab was unappealing - especially if I am trying to escape ZOMBIES, CRIMINALS or something! I LOVE how he handled this issue! I thought about that, but I hadn't seen ANYONE do it! That is a great idea! I ALSO love his fuel setup! I ABSOLUTELY am going to use that idea when I create my rolling space! Finally, I LOVE HIS ACCENT! I am going to binge watch this channel!

I have to say this is the best van conversion I've seen yet. The floorplan is amazing. Yesterday I drew some sketches for a Luton. You gave me some great ideas and soloutions aswell. Made some things worked I thought wouldn't be possible even on paper. Incredible work! You got my respect and I wish you the most of luck and fun with this masterpiece!

This build is the closest I've seen to what I had in my head! The underslung gas bottle & wood store is genius; I was thinking to have those in a gap between the roller shutter and back door and have a slightly larger outside area on the ramp - room for the hammock 😂

I LOVE that this van works for his life now, but also has enough storage and the extra features that it could work if his lifestyle or family set up changed a bit. So many of these tiny homes are made to only be perfect for the one particular year in the owner's life, and then they end up renovating them every single year when their lifestyle changes just a little.

All I can say is *WOW!* I was forced into van life at age 55 after being wrongfully evicted from my home of 42 years, and I could only dream of having something so nice and, well, beautiful to live in. But living on Social Security as my only income it will always remain a dream. You forgot to introduce your dog to us. I couldn't live w/o mine either. Congrats on that gorgeous design. It is just awesome, and you say you get up to 30mpg on your various fuel sources? That is spectacular! Envy is not becoming, but in this case I think it's justified! Enjoy your work! Peace😎
Very nice, love the double duty lift!!! You've thought of everything. Wow, vegetable oil! You say cooker, in the USA we say stove, oven, stove top. Where do you keep you shoes, I didn't see any on your feet, lol.
One of the best van builds I've seen. So functionally smart with the layout and balcony! Inside, the woodwork is stunning,. The fuel solution is the smartest feature. Please do a video on this alone. I need it. Your appliances are very smart - very true about the gas stove. The fridge should be replaced with a bigger one and compressor type made for RVs. You have choices: Isotherm, Vitrifrigo, NovaKool, or Dometic - runs on 12V or 110V/220V but not propane. Propane fridges are not efficient and need your van to be perfectly level or get destroyed. When propane fridge runs on 12V or 110V/220V, it draws much more power than an RV compressor fridge. Ditto for residential 110V fridge. The residential models are big power hogs. However, the compressor 12V models are highly efficient and can run purely on solar. Try a larger size fridge too. Helps to cook up a week's worth of food at a time.

One of the best van builds I've seen. So functionally smart with the layout and balcony! Inside, the woodwork is stunning,. The fuel solution is the smartest feature. Please do a video on this alone. I need it.
Your appliances are very smart - very true about the gas stove.
The fridge should be replaced with a bigger one and compressor type made for RVs. You have choices: Isotherm, Vitrifrigo, NovaKool, or Dometic - runs on 12V or 110V/220V but not propane. Propane fridges are not efficient and need your van to be perfectly level or get destroyed. When propane fridge runs on 12V or 110V/220V, it draws much more power than an RV compressor fridge. Ditto for residential 110V fridge. The residential models are big power hogs. However, the compressor 12V models are highly efficient and can run purely on solar. Try a larger size fridge too. Helps to cook up a week's worth of food at a time.
