Woovebox #10: Looping Samples (Day 6)

I just learned that we can use very short looping samples to take the place of standard oscillators and make extremely custom waveforms. My goal is to emulate wavetable sweeping to create long, slow, ever-evolving pads as one element of my ambient tracks. But it starts with learning how to loop samples.

Thank you for the great info, not sure if you already have made the video, but love to see how you import loops ( drums, chords) and sequencing them in a song.

Thanks for the comment! Unfortunately, I'm pretty focused on the sound design features of this device and the ways that I use those features for making my ambient music. Sampling, loops and stems aren't really on my RADAR but I'll bet that the @wooveboxing channel will have a video to help you. He is more focused on teaching the features of the Woovebox.

Great videos, learning a lot . Had my Woovebox 4 days but just can’t connect to Wooveconnect on both windows and IOS. Any help would be appreciated 🙏🙏🙏

I've been stuck on that one myself. It seems like there are no browsers on iOS that support WebMIDI, which I think is how Wooveconnect works. Luckily I have an old mac notebook that works well enough to run Wooveconnect in a Chrome browser.
Unfortunately, I don't know anything about Windows.
Have you tried the r/woovebox community on Reddit?
