One trick I used when my dog was a puppy was to spread some peanut butter along the wall of the tub during bathtime. It kept her attention away from the actual bathing. The only issue is that it is a little gross and needs to be thoroughly cleaned afterward. But it worked like a charm and trained her that bathtime was also peanut butter time.
Okay soo carrot fries!! I recently experimented and cut them pretty thin and coated with corn starch, olive oil, onion powder and s+p (obvi use whatever seasonings you like) and baked at 425 for 20 mins. They turned out waaaay better than I was expecting and satisfied my fries craving
don’t know if this would be helpful for you but I use a silicone mat that goes on the wall of your tub or sink! & you put peanut butter, helps keep your doggie distracted & in place & they see their bath as rewarding 🥰
omg the footage of you washing sammy reminded me of the early days when i first got my pup!!! she was so tiny and whenever we would try to bathe her she would just jump everywhere and make it near impossible to wash her properly. she is an old lady now so she is very chill when it comes to baths now haha

For bath time it might help to put her on a leash and harness or collar that u dont mind getting wet so u dont have to worry about her jumping out as much, or if u have a tub do it in the tub so u can sit in there with her?(and still leash her so she doesnt jump out) i do that with my old dog who also doesnt like bathtime and i have to cuz since he is old but still tries to get out he will hurt himself if im not in there with him just in my lap basically (he is small too)
for the cookies, try taking them immediately off the baking sheet and onto a cooling rack after they're out of the oven!! they will keep their shape better that way
Your vlogs are great and make me feel so calm. Of course I'd love some more weekly vlogs, but only if you want to. To me it doesn't matter if it's a week or a day long and if it can possibly make you feel anxious or stressed out you shouldn't do it. I'm sure everyone will watch your vlogs anyway! 🥰

I love them, but if it's a lot to do weekly vlogs, maybe try to vlog a few days or take more spread out footage. Anxiety is hard and making quiet time is very important. I imagine talking to a camera all day can be tiring honestly, I experience that drained feeling too
I asked my dad who is really into gluten free baking and he reccommended adding 1/4 tsp of zantham gum to the flour and 1tsp of baking powder. It's just a guess but gf flour doesn't absorb the fat as well as regular flour so adding those could help to bind and make it rise. Also i realize this is your family recipe but if you wanted an already gf recipe to modify and make vegan America's Test Kitchen makes some great cookbooks! I hope that helps some!
I really recommend taking her to do baths at pet food express! You can do a walk first somewhere exciting to tire her out and they have all the fear right there, plus it keeps your house clean and free of wet dog The staff are lovely and always give the dogs treats 😊
Lindsey, a good tip would be to use an app like Rover and have someone come walk your dog (I think you can adjust how much time you want them to be on a walk). I know a lot of people are out of work right now, so that’s also helping someone out & you can get some work done. 😊
Lindsey you should try eggplant fries! One on my favorite restaurants in Venice ~Great White~ has a fabulous recipe, but there’s also a ton on Pinterest. Idea inspired by your thought of carrot fries!
that lentil soup looks like exactly something I need to make this week!! if you are looking for a new soup to make you should try the vegan carrot garam masala soup by the blog a beautiful plate. It’s my favorite!! especially with some crispy chickpeas on top 🖤
I've heard somewhere that too much sugar can cause your cookies to spread too much!! Not sure if that's the issue but just thought I'd comment some advice in case it helps!!
Some people think you need to wash your dog regularly which isn't true for most of em. Not saying, you bathe her more than she needs, just wanted to put out that you dont need to wash every dog all the time, maybe you can reduce it ^_^

Girl! Puppies are little monsters but I swear it gets better, they chill out so much when they turn 8 months

Any tips for a puppy that gets kinda bitey and growly when you have to blow dry them after a bath??
high value treats with one hand, blow dry with the other hand! it will keep the pup busy and focused on the food not the blow drier
