Brilliant video as always! It’s nice to see Nova 3 sets being used on the Cleethorpes - Liverpool service! I’d love to be inside a mk3 coach speeding through the Peak District on my way to Liverpool!
One on videos at 3:15 was running as a class 5 empty stock , will be crew training ready for the discontinued service "madness ! " . Rode on them few times nice inside but slightly firmer ride than the 185's , powerful loco , had look round the cabs , quite high-tech (Daughter use to drive them )
Barnetby station also serves nearby Humberside Airport and is near to Grimsby, Cleethorpes, Barton-upon-Humber, Brigg and Immingham. And is on the south side of the River Humber from Hull.
Thank you very much! It might be one of very few stations on the network were freight and locos are more common than multiple units! Glad you enjoyed 😃
For future references can you list special trains and or liveries separately it'd make it easier to find out what's rare in the video, this station is on the relatively long line between Cleethorpes and Manchester, right?
Freight-Tastic To be honest, I had the North Lincolnshire Line has a lot of freight movement in action. Its good to see Transpennine Express Nova 3 sets will be making an introduction by hopefully December timetable. To start, there will be 2 Nova 3 sets for Cleethorpes to Liverpool services. Scarborough TMD is planning to reopen to store a Nova 3 set which according to Real Time Trains, will arrive early evening and have a later start in the morning from Scarborough TMD.
Oh yes, I've always been a big fan of Barnetby and Scunthorpe but I don't get much time to travel that far north 😔. Great to hear the 68s are making a more serious come back for TPE, they've hardly been used recently and the Scarborough TMD issue has only made this worse. Thanks Ricky 😃
@@StarlifeStudios I understand the feeling. It's like when I wanna go south to Devon or Cornwall up to Scotland, it'll have to booked as a holiday. They've been testing the Nova 3 sets to and from Scarborough TMD. Before it was used this year, last year it was used as a delivery point by Eutophoenix class 37 taking to dropping them off. The plan for December timetable is for Scarborough TMD to be used as refueling and servicing with just a Nova 3 set stabled overnight. But, to prevent the noise issue and which ever Nova 3 set is stabled overnight at Scarborough TMD, it will finish earlier and start later.
I believe DB have held the Drax Biomass contract for the last 5 years but as you said, most of the Biomass traffic is GBRf operated. They're both sheds so I guess it depends whether you like orange or red 😃😃
My understanding of this is that eventually the 68s will take over from the 185s just before Christmas. I’m not sure exactly how many will be used but not many have been used since Covid anyway.
How wrong can we all be! The TPE 68s are a classic example of why we must be aware of the present because it could all change in the future. We all look at stock like the 465s, IETs and Pendolinos (as examples) like they will be around forever but they won’t and we must remember that.
Good question Joel! I generally find that most of my viewers like to see movement more than anything else. I also know that most trainspotters use the doors closing as an indication that you need to get ready to record!
Thanks for watching everyone, this one is a FREIGHT-TASTIC video 😃
The freight was the best in this video
Haha good joke.
😂 for sure 🤣
Amazing video! Barnetby is a brilliant place for freight trains! 😁
Nice video and i like the sound of class 185 :)
I do too! They have a really satisfying engine grunt and sound great especially when they apply max engine revs. 😃

I really loved this video. Nice to see the TPE 68's.

I am a fan of Barnetby (I have relatives up that way), the amount of freight is just brilliant. Keep up the good work buddy 👍
Great video as usual it’s awesome to have a different type of video as in more freight trains are included
Thank you very much! It might be one of very few stations on the network were freight and locos are more common than multiple units! Glad you enjoyed 😃
Superb video. A location which is getting better again 👍🏻
Love all the freight in this one mate!
Great video mate. All day freight day at Barnetby
Finally caught 66789 as well 😃😃 Thanks Arnold!
Interesting to see the class 68 sets are running the Manchester pic to Cleethorpes route I'll have to look out for them next time I'm in Sheffield:P
I'm a station over in Scunthorpe, sadly there's not many trains that come through Scunny.
Brilliant video mate nice 👍🏻
Thanks Jordan, much appreciated 😃
@@StarlifeStudios your welcome buddy 😊
Amazing video as always, great to see so much freight👍
Thank you ENC!
Great video

Interesting idea. I’ll see if I can make it happen for you 😃
And yes your right about the route this station is on. Basically everything that leaves immingham comes through here. Thanks 😃
love watching trians
Been here twice, good train spotting place
It could be both heaven or hell depending of your opinion of 66s 😃 Thanks Skyzer
Nice video!
Thanks 😃

5:42 I notice there was a cancelled train to Cleethorpes on the CIS. Why didn't you film that?
Cancelled trains are very shy and don’t often come out to be videoed 😃
@@StarlifeStudios They do sometimes when running with no conductor , train runs but service is cancelled
Great video 👍 did I see a door open on one of the class 66s? 15:18
They were both open must have been hot day " no aircon on these "
7:34 GB Railfreight’s supposed to pull the Drax Biomass, not Deutsche Bahn

DB work all the Drax Biomass traffic out of Immingham
Nice railway video
Thank you so much Imperialist 👍🏻
Are the 68+Mk5As doing driver training here? I've seen them at Piccadilly saying 'not in service'.
My understanding of this is that eventually the 68s will take over from the 185s just before Christmas. I’m not sure exactly how many will be used but not many have been used since Covid anyway.
Yes they were running as class 5 empty stock

This looks like an excellent place for freight,if I'm not wrong, you got more freight than passengers trains
It certainly appears that way and there aren’t many stations where you get that! Thanks for watching 😃
Why do trainspotters never record the train door's closing? Nice video!

What camera do you use?
I use a Panasonic HC-VX1.

@@StarlifeStudios could you suggest some cameras that can do photography and good zoom videos but with a decent price like under £200? Thanks
