Thanks for taking the time to film this, takes me back to my childhood when we used to sit on the embankments and other places to watch the trains, all changed when they electrified the lines and fenced it all off :(. Used to get passenger throwing ciggie packets out the windows and stuff, I didn't smoke back then , but was loads of fun. Back in the day when you could put your ear on the track and feel if the train was coming :). Bygone age that my kids will never experience.
Some epic filming Steve. It is many years since I last went to Barnetby but this video brings back a lot of memories. The semaphore signals almost seem to belong to a bygone era. Clive.
Well done Steve, despite the forgotten camera, you did a very good job. Those blue containers are the Roxby Binliner. Together with the steel flats, they were diverted because of that landslip at Hatfield Colliery
yay, its a great one indeed...specially as it begins with my favorite style of freight.. a lovely Long " Roundie " ..awesome..!!! ,,and jeese that is certainly one long "Roundie" coming through behind 60 019 schenker @ 57:11.... I think I counted 30 wagons..in all...!!! :)
