Hi Bahar, Your plant and pot were absolutely gorgeous. Thanks for sharing and providing the pdf. Yes please, keep the plant tutorials coming. Cheers Robyn ❤
Very interesting video. I make miniatures as well and was thinking about doing plants, too. I'm in very beginning stages of making a dollhouse. I have a few questions - 1) what scale are these plants in? Is this 1:12 (dollhouse) or 1:6 (Barbie)? I've downloaded the template. 2) Why did you fill the pot with what looks like polymer clay before you added the coffee grounds. And 3) What is the gsm on the green card stock paper you used for the leaves? It looked like very thick paper. I like the way you painted the leaves. I plan to make lots of plants for my dollhouse, but I think I'll test out my first set using your template just to see if I can make them. Anyway - thanks for this tutorial. Mine will be a bit different as I don't have all those lovely different sizes of wood, but I hope it will turn out nice.
Thank you! The scale is 1:12, and you can use 250 to 400 gsm cards to make it. I used polymer clay as a foundation so that I could secure the leaves on it, and I used coffee on top for the soil texture. Hope this helps, and I wish you all the best in making miniatures. It's so fun and therapeutic! 😊
