I knew Rainer from my time "working " at the Chicago store while attending the U of A in the late 1980's. He worked in the basement shop repairing guitars. I had the run of the place and I would hunt around for old guitars and parts. Rainer was always there listening to music or NPR on an old tube radio. It is nice to hear his voice in this documentary. He was just as mellow as you hear him speak in it. Very laid back and friendly plus he was quite knowledgeable about music
Rainer had such a gift. A friend who knew him shared this video. I had never heard of him. I moved to Tempe 3 years after he died. To die so young is saddening to me. We all die…but I wish those who are younger could stay longer. Rest in Peace Rainer💟☮️
Rainer, I love you man and still play the guitar you built for me. I think about you almost every f'n day. I wish we could have worked on that weird project we talked about on the steps of the post office. Love ya man.
he made this universe sweeter.
Wonderful man. Beautiful woman.
I love this! Rip. I cannot wait to hear you play in heaven. I know you are there...
