if i were to chose, it would still be reaper. as reaper can ignore every type of resistance including forcefield and reflector. gauss on the other hand packs a punch if you have powerman as pilot skill. that said, i'm tempted to just say neither of them, recently i re-discovered hwangje, on crisis if timed properly it can outperform both reaper and gauss IMO, but the best crisis build is definitely subduer. there are also other good builds that will outperform both gauss, reaper and hwangje, an example would be decay. if you're a daredevil maybe even puncher can work
