Your completely wrong. Upgrading to mk2 mech and mk2 weapons is a very fun grind. And you don't need money to do so. I get wrampage and godlike frequently and pull at least 2-3 hundred k silver each match. Just dedicate.
I cant convert components to robots that are "special content" why? When does special content robots turn into normal component robots that you can grind?

Trebuchet is awful in Damage Per Minute... And it's medium (ballista) and light (arbalest) are just as lacking in the DPM department
