I was 10 in 1997, and I was the only one in my school class to get past the first chapter in LC. Rasta Blasta was a bit too difficult for me though, especially since I had only been taught English one year in school at that point. I ended up just selling cars at the docks until I hit the red score. I was so happy I had finally beat the game! My real name isnt Daniel Craig btw. I watched your entire playthrough and it brought back so many memories. I remember so many spots on the map. I wish I had the original paper maps of the game left. Thanks for uploading this, I hope it never gets erased from the internet!

I tried making a top-down GTA-style game too, but since I'm not that advanced I was way in over my head. lol, I often underestimate the scope of my projects. Making graphics is usually not really the issue though. Right now I toned down a bit and am working on '8-bit' style games, which require less work and helps to get better at programming. Do you also work on games besides playing them?
Rudolf That's awesome! I've never tried to create a game but it sounds like a cool project...I'm finding it difficult to find time to play these days but will continue to upload more runs when I have time again.

I'll try some GTA 2 next when I find time to play. After watching your Downtown 100% video, I can say that it will be very hard to beat since your strategy there is probably perfect already :) Residential and Industrial will be a pain because of the kill frenzies but not impossible I guess.
+R3dlineR6 I remember having some improvements for the route, but of course I didn´t write it down and already forgot what it was, lol. But I recall not liking the time wasted on respect balancing and some of the token placement in the route. Residential and Industrial will definetely be very hard, those frenzies might occupy nearly as much time as the missions themself. There are also some of the tokens, especially in Industrial, which have some long ways to get them, so some "shortcuts" might be needed. I´m currently doing a video on tokens, which might be useful for routing those areas in the future. But yeah, good luck on that game, it is very unforgiving. ;0

Giovane Araujo I wouldn’t even really count the kill frenzies cause even tho they show up as a number, they are really only used as another option to make money. I’d juts say get the correct amount of money per level. If I remember correctly one of the levels crashes the game if you get every frenzy anyway so...

It depends if you exit to the left or right...either way you end up working for them...it just gives you an extra mission if you chose not to!

You have to work for the Rastas no matter which side you pick at the beginning....no choice!
Well they are a lot nicer than Deever lol, but it just seems unlikely they would hire you after what you did to them in the previous levels.

Its not abandoned yet, so you would need to pay, but if you make a search for "gta1 abandonware download" you'll probably find, i did like this...
Just grab it off Steam, saves you the trouble of using patches and stuff to run it on a modern computer.
