Excellent downshifting for that pull! I have that exact Z stock with 17k miles. I always get a bit of buck if I drop all the way down the stalk at highway speed like that. My car would gain 100hp just with the "driver mod" here. Thanks

I've been on the fence between NA and SC, but this demo pretty much grounded me towards the NA. My 2017 Chevy SS sedan is my 'Daily, and the noise may grow old after a while. I would love to hear/see an LS 440 build with a 4.125 x 4.25 and 10.x comp.
Same setup with a few more odds and ends here and there on my 07 and put down 535 rwhp. You hit traction button twice and you better hold on because she goes all over the place.
A well mannered at low speeds and pulls pretty decently to 7000 with what appears to be a lack of traction. Not sure what the car pulled at the rear tires before the upgrades, that would definitely play into the benefit to cost ratio. Thanks for doing this
Wow! So this guy is running Intake, Headers, Exhaust, Heads/Cam, Intake Manifold, and a dyne tune, and is up to 575 RWHP? What is that, about 690 to the crank? That's incredible numbers? What's the cost to do all of that?
Did you fix the "Service Active Handling System" error? If not, try the following three things (from easiest to hardest): 1) Pull up on the brake pedal hard. It might be kinda stuck and it confuses the system. 2) Disconnect, clean, and reconnect the wiring going to the Body Control Module (BCM) in the fusebox under the passenger footwell. 3) Have the BCM replaced. Nice video!!!
GT19 is 227/239 duration @ .050 lift - .678/.688 lift with 1.8 rocker 114 LSA. FAR from an aggressive cam. The GT21 is the aggressive one at 243/259 duration @ .050 lift -.691/.702 lift with 1.8 rocker 112. I have a 242/252 .648/.652 117+3 LSA and I can drive it at 40mph in 6th gear at 1000rpms with no issues.
Hello......GM has taken the dry sump 505hp and turned it into wet sump and a hotter cam making 570hp. They claim the heads are ported?...not sure how much. I love this cam. Would this work good with a Whipple supercharger on top? (Agressive idle). Thank you, Greg

These cars are known for the valve guides wearing out, and then the valves start rocking in the guides and eventually dropping a valve into the cylinder, essentially destroying the motor. I want to buy one and build it like this, but was afraid of the valve issues. What is your opinion? Did you rework the heads on this one?

Can I put a Big Cam in my Prius GT? I want to be able to lunge my groceries in the trunk against the back window, scramble the fresh eggs, and smoke the Bacon when I'm doing 190 mph. Right now it only goes 0 to 60 in about an hour. LOL. Kidding, thumbs up!
Its been a few years but if I remember correctly i think it was because i was unfamiliar with the gear ratios and didn’t want to over rev the engine at the speed i was going. I almost always rev match just because it’s satisfying but dragging the clutch here and there isn’t the end of the world.
Yes it is the end of the world as far as i am concerned. You are burning up the clutch and then stomping the power immediately after. Taking a lot of life off the clutch each time you do it. Seeing this makes me realize why I would never let another soul drive my C6Z
My cam is shot,do to lifter failure .due to having to heavy valve springs.for stock cam.i have a lifter stuck in the block.may need a new short block.getting a monster chop cam shaft for sure..
The guys in Florida at HPI did a 600+++ rwhp NA customers car recently on 93octane and with a really streetable cam I'd say. I wonder why they're some of the only dudes getting that much power out?
Id be curious to see the parts list and to drive it back to back with mine that made 628rwhp. Mine drives pretty good, but definitely not like a stocker. "Driveability" is certainly subjective.

IRaceFormula a lot of that cost would depend on the brands of parts he bought but I'm thinking 7-10k with labor and tuning.

@@number36420 dragging the clutch is not burning it. This is actually a preferred way to break it in. The heat generated doing this is irrelevant.
