Indian think that Starlink will be cheap with high speed need a reality check. The fiber internet is more reliable and provide you constant speed. Unless Starlink doesn’t decrease their prices in India, they will not gain anything here
Starlink dishes, as far as I remember from some time ago, don't connect directly to the satellites, but instead to a base station that is connected to the satellites. That would quickly congest the bands in high population areas. So, in my opinion, starlink would be good to provide internet to remote areas (think hills and islands), but in densely populated areas, Fibre would still be the superior one. Also, starlink has occasional downtime when the connection is switched from one constellation to another and the dish nominally consumes about 60W of power round the clock. This translates to the cost of around 43-44 units of electricity per month.
Thanks a ton for the links..
great help
I'm eagerly waiting for starlink

Starlink provide 10 dollar per month subscription in some parts of Africa so in India also it will be around same.
Try getting a network in places like Andaman and Nicobar and Kashmir using lines. This is something next level. Also as you scale prices drop.
or they could target small or medium scale businesses who want to setup offices in remote areas
