I did a pair of these to sit on my book shelf apart from a small patch of orange that bleed through the handle turned out great I used different paint on them one looks spotless the paint on the other crackled up and looked battle damaged these are a great project if you your stating out used a silver sharpie for highlights
That turned out pretty cool. Love the wood grain effect. I found Mandalorian rifle broken in half at the thrift store a few weeks ago and am planning on doing something similar. It was good to see your process first.
nice job, well done, looks great!
You did an amazing job turning this plastic toy into a very nice display piece. The wood grain is very realistic
Thanks, I'm really happy how it turned out.
This turned out so great Stephen! Nice job man!!
Thanks Tony. I was really surprised how well the grips looked. I will definitely be using that technique again.
Nicely done. the paint and 'wood' look great.
Thanks dude
LMAO! The beard hanging down under the helmet and you saying that cracked me up LOL! But about the prop, it looks great! Thanks for video!
It doesn't hang down as much now 😂
Love it! I want to buy one and maybe add a real wooden handle to it! Thanks for the inspiration! DIG IT!
That's definitely a possibility, and would take it to another level
