Gearbox is perfectly fine, trust me…I speak from 15 years of experience. It was designed and mated superbly to this vehicle. People just can’t appreciate it for what it’s worth…People love manuals, but hate how the SMGIII gearbox feels like one?…(Most haven’t driven them and speak from all the TH-cam videos they watch). When shifting at 8,250 RPM’s, it shifts like a fuckin’ sledge hammer. Gear after gear after gear…THAT’S what it was designed for. Not getting groceries. Though you can…haha

@@AR-pp2xb hey brother some tips) Change every 50000-70000 km rod bearings ( depends on how u drive ) Use 10w60 oil and change it every 3-5 thousand km - or change instantly after driving really really brutally Use smg3 gearbox only on manual mode , that will increase its reliability . Don’t use launch control unless u want to break your clutch after 2 times. Use only premium original parts and good fuel (100 octane ) and find good gas station.
@@AR-pp2xb also use camera to look for scratches in cyclinder walls if u of course have them. If u have scratches fix the problem immediately, otherwise it will end up really bad . If there is a slight problem in gearbox or engine fix it immediately otherwise it will lead to a chain of problems which will eventually brake your car making it a money pit
