For every 10 PSA 10s, there’s probably 1-2 that fell through the cracks and don’t actually deserve the 10. But same goes for PSA 9s… probably 1-2 out of every 10 probably deserve 10s, and 1-2 deserve less than 9s
I can agree (though I think the numbers are more skewed in favor of them being bad) I think the issue with this one is that the person who sent it did not assess the condition properly which gives psa just a bigger chance to miss grade it.
@@DLegend16 I guess I mean that like one, the card shouldn’t have been sent in cause it was never psa 10 able. And the person who sent it in thought it was mint when it wasn’t. So that gives psa more margin for error cause they already can’t give accurate grades if that makes sense.
@@versaacollectables I think the fault lies with PSA… can’t really blame the person submitting the card for grading something haha. People often grade cards that don’t necessarily have PSA 10 potential, myself included. Not trying to hunt for PSA 10s with this mindset, just trying to get some PC cards slabbed up, or graded so conditions are confirmed etc. But again, sometimes things fall through the cracks which is really unfortunate
@@DLegend16 I totally get your point of view. I have nothing against someone wanting to send in something just so they can have it slabbed and not care about the grade necessarily! But in this case with more context, he told me it was mint and that why he sent it in lol. Changed the situation a bit more for me.
honestly i don't like PSA and so on it's everytime a gambling and all of us collect cards for a long time so why we need a grading service i think my eyes are good enough for the condition check for a trade or a buy-sale but it's just my opinion peace from germany
Unless ruxin34 was lying, then they literally have damaged/switched his cards. I've even seen people i know have cards switched so I'm not in the least bit surprised and would rather have my cards slabbed at beckett cus i can usually get more for a 8.5-9 from them than an 8 from PSA. I had a buddy that needed help sending into PSA. I warned him and even told him he had too witness everything I do so he knows it's not me who switched the cards if it happens: He decided to go with beckett which is good cus he got a 9.5. (FYI PSA: The borders on cards don't change themselves and it's most likely the work of some diversity hire. Sorry, not sorry)

You should try comparing with AGS grading which uses Machine to grade cards.
