Room on Fire is my favorite album of all time, all of the songs in it are perfect, Under Control is a bit lower in my opinion but its still a 9/10 song, Is This It is a close second though.
Because they were heading the vintage new wave revival underground of 2001, its all apart of a super authentic shot of nostalgia, which was so amazing and revolutionary to see, in that time of P.O.D./nu metal /skate punk/blink 182(God bless’m!!).... soft and reserved yet not lacking any intensity! There music seemingly came out of nowhere and still sounds like you have become Elliot from E.T. and your dreaming of a psychedelic rapid color changing 1980’s ‘Light Brite’ toy!
Was an honest man Asked me for the phone Tried to take control Oh, I don't see it that way I don't see it that way We shared some ideas All obsessed with fame Says we're all the same Oh, I don't see it that way I don't see it that way Raised in Carolina I'm not like that Tryin' to remind her When we go back I missed the last bus, I'll take the next train I'll try but you see, it's hard to explain I say the right thing, but act the wrong way I like it right here, but I cannot stay I watch the TV, forget what I'm told Well, I am too young, and they are too old The joke is on you, this place is a zoo You're right it's true He says he can't decide I shake my head to say Everything's just great Oh, I just can't remember I just can't remember Raised in Carolina She says, "I'm not like that" Tryin' to remind her When we go back I say the right thing, but act the wrong way I like it right here, but I cannot stay I watch the TV, forget what I'm told Well, I am too young, and they are too old Oh man, can't you see I'm nervous? Something about this being so loosey goosey is exciting though when it all comes together at the first pause and then comes back in. Is it gonna come together...IT DOES! Woooooooo
@@happysoc5703 Fab was pretty drunk, they all were. There's another video where you can see they actually took some time off, and Ryan Gentles gets up on stage to cheer Fab up so he can keep going. There's this weird thing with bands, like a sort of bond when you're up on stage against the crowd. Being drunk or high can really boost that, this concert is proof of that
This is 21 years old this is basically our 80s to the people of the 2000s
Goddam we old!
My mom went to this concert
That's am.. fuck
lucky
Do u think one of the strokes piped
@@T0mBr1dg3 haha imagine
Your mom seems pretty cool
Really wish the high quality version of this could be uncovered
There is no high quality it was shot like this on purpose like watching something from the seventies
Idk why I'm here now but there's higher quality versions on TH-cam now.
One of the best bands of all time. Most bands in music history don't have albums that are even close to as good as Is This It or Room on Fire

Whatever Happened? is such a banger
I think there are many bands that meet those requirements 😅
All this time, and it's Still the best.
Damn you know you’re getting old when you can audibly discern the fact that Fab was off time at the beginning
he wasn't off, they just played slower
sounds better this way imo!
Isn't he always off time live? Julian and him is a real love story! ;)
Least did they know, they were Experiencing legends.
Thanks!
Pasan los años y amas mas esta canción ❤
Why does this video looks like it was recorded in 1976?
2001 was still vhs

How is it that concerts from the 80s have better quality than something from 2002 🤦♂️
Que tempos difíceis eram aqueles...Zenon.Ter a vontade e a necessidade de viver, mas não a habilidade...
Haha you can see Jules talking to Fab at the beginning. Probably saying "PLEASE DO NOT MESS UP!" Fab was really drunk at the time lol.
He held it together pretty well tho
Jules was also very drunk but the others I would not know

Getting sloppy yeah
1.1x speed, you're welcome
Is that where you were conceived?
why is so slow???
Fab was tired so it was risky to play it too fast
i prefer this tempo
'The Modern Age' is slow too...
Slow but who cares. Awesome.
It's fake
