GTI Club: Supermini Festa! (known as GTI Club World: City Race in Japan) is the final installment in Konami's obscure GTI Club series of arcade racing titles since 1996. The arcade version used Konami's PC-based hardware that also powered Otomedius, Crazy Streets Thrill Drive, Seigi no Hero (Lethal Enforcers 3), Metal Gear Arcade and Silent Hill The Arcade among others. Aside from the bad rap from mainstream reviewers, Supermini Festa! is still an enjoyable arcade racer in spite of the AI and physics issues.
I remember playing the shit out of this in my childhood. surprisingly content-packed, wasted hundreds of hours doing quests and shooting tomato at my dad's car.
I had the one arcade game at a local bowling alley for a while and picked it up when it hit the ps3. One of those dead-on-arrival (in the west at least) franchises that actually I quite liked.
I like the fact the game points out the prize you win is game based, just in case you're stupid enough to think you actually won a portable DVD player :D
Vyse is there a pure arcade race mode in GTI Club Wii alongside all the different modes? I mean can you race against other 7 CPU controlled cars like it was in the old arcade GTI Club games?
+Dosunceste Sorry for the late reply; no, it's not like the original Arcade Games with more track freedom and seven other cars -- it's mostly a collection of mini-games with a few basic race modes, but without the same scope and lower # of CPU opponents. It's okay in it's own right, but a bit of a missed opportunity for the devs.

You can run with other 3 CPU controlled cars or with other 1-3 players. The game have a lot of contents that wasn't contain in the original arcade..The mission mode can unlock a lot of contents, like new cars, upgrade ad the intermediate ad advanced course, so that you can choose exactly all the shortcuts like the arcade version. On intermediate ad advanced course , the cpu became more tough and the mission mode have a price system based on the medal that you unlock. The extra contents give you a new track, Japan and a lot of game 's mode. That are a lot to play, both in single that multiplayer. I've bought the Wii version recently and thanks to the Wii Wheel to, it's extremely fun. Amazing game! ❤️
the bots on this game are tremendous! wich by i mean i have played this from 2012 all the way to 2015 so i know wich cars are best for hard missions (lvl 2 everything cars)
Vyse, please respond to this! Do you know if it is hard to unlock all the arcade stuff/cars, etc.? If it is, do you happen to have a save file for this game still on your wii? (or anyone reading this comment, for that matter?) I would love a complete save, if that is possible! I'm considering buying this game, but I don't want to have to unlock everything. Please let me know soon, Luke
Very rare and underappreciated gem on the wii!
You are right.
I love this game! It's one of my favorite wii racers. The way the track steers around the car makes it a fun arcade racer!!!

Yes it does. $40 game now
Edit: nice how no one responded in 2 years.
Deleted the comment because it was pure cringe.
