I have been working in the retail store for 7 years and i gave many many advises to a customers with a same worry like you have , : simply buy scooter from your own pocket and than send a receipt to your insurance and they will not have a choice except reimbursing you , because it is already been purchased and it is too late to refuse . But if you wait for any approvals , you will have to wait forever ... My advice worked in 7 out of 10 customers and they all successful got their money back from the insurance... But every insurance is different , so i can not guarantee that it will work in your case as in the rest of the 7 -8 customers Good luck
