The St. Paul Young Adult Choir and Ensemble sings a varied repertoire of liturgical music, from folk to contemporary, at the 5:15 PM Sunday Mass at the Church of Saint Paul the Apostle in New York City.
On 9/11 I was watching news coverage when it was suddenly interrupted by a service at a local church. At one point the congregation was led in this song. It's a part of that horrible day that I will not forget, it was one bright spot.
I do not have any idea how many times I've watched this, but the soloist near the end of the song makes tears flow down my cheeks every time. Such angelic voices!
Wow. Sound so beautiful. All the Glory and Praise to our God! May we serve him faithfully.

This pandemic is a unique pain for the arts, and singers in particular. We will sing this arrangement, socially distanced, of course, for a recorded service this week. Beautiful Song😂
This sounds lovely! The female section is too powerful and needs to blend more. The male [bass] section is lacking. Endings need to be cleaner. This would sound amazing with a cello. The musicians are very talented. I hope you record this someday; it is one of the best versions I heard.
