So happy for you! I took violin lessons when I was in middle school and high school, I want to play again. I play mostly by ear though I can read music just fine. I want to get back into it and my bf wants to buy me an Appalachian mountain dulcimer to learn as well.
It's terrific that you're taking lessons now. It can take lots of practice and patience to learn when we're not young but there's a depth of accomplishment and pleasure to learn as an older adult. Don't get discouraged, keep playing.

Hello again, Miss Harbridge. I had to listen to this one a couple of times through and then I read Psalms 91 before I wrote this. You have done splendidly on this piece! There is an undercurrent of hope that you can hear in the beginning that steadily grows stronger and swells into a powerful crescendo of praise in this song. It has that hint of sorrow that gives way to joy as the melody rises into that hope filled crescendo of praise that is so encouraging to hear! This song speaks to the one who is looking at the storms that rage roundabout them and in their heart they feel sorrow and despair. But, God! But, God! He comes in and reminds this one, and says, “My name is your strength, your shield, your portion! Your strong tower, your shelter!” This song says in notes profound what the scripture says in words! It uplifts and encourages! And I thank you for that. It is a timely gift that you have given, and I know the Lord will bless you for it. I have no doubt that you continue to make Him smile. Thank you for so much beauty in one video. I didn't know this psalm, but was reminded of Isaiah, chapter 40: "They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength: they shall mount up, with wings like eagles..." I don't read the Bible much, but I remember that from Chariots of Fire :)
Psalm 91 is one of the most amazing Psalms for protection from evil🙏
Our priests always recommend us to read it regularly especially when enduring “battles” ... great Psalm to read before bed also
