Good explanation mate. Currently in process of putting my 12" 1200W kenwood in my ssv. Just waiting for a decent LOC to come in. Remote wire running to power socket in console on a switch. In theory there should be a trigger wire in the stock loom to switch the factory amp. Use a multimeter on all the wires. Whatever gives 12V when acc (or HU) turned on and is dead when off would be trigger. Haven't done it yet but will let you know how it goes
Hey mate I hope you can reply, are your yellow wires on positive and green on negative ? I know you changed yours at the plug in the vid, I'm just trying to work out if someone has already changed polarity on mine at the speakers or not.

When wiring in a LOC, instead of going from the back of the headunit, it would be possible to do it from the harness that connects to the factory amp yea?
Rhysk94 i will when i get the chance 👍🏻 but in theory your switching the polarity at a lower point, just pretend that where you have switched them are the terminals for the sub. Switching the polarity at the sub is just the same thing just further up the line 👌🏼
Pushes the cone in instead of out, its quieter and not as defined. Holden did it the wrong way from factory, this fixes it. And there isnt any in the utes amd wagons, only the sedans

Should be able to depin the plug and do it that way. no need to cut anything.

Only in the ssv, clubby, gts. Caprice etc
Reversing the + and - Will blow your amp, but you can modify how much power it puts out at the bottom of it (i did it with my 09 Calais V)
It wont blow the amp, they were wired in the reverse polarity from factory.
