I am considering moving to Knoxville and as you might expect the out doors are a big part of the appeal. My concern is this I recently heard there was a new ordinance requiring people to wear masks when out doors. Now I understand masks are required in certain situations but will I really need to wear a masks if I am walking down the street by my self or riding my bike? I would appreciate any info you could give me. Thanks

Crime isn’t that bad in west Knox or Farragut. More crime happens downtown near campus and such. I’ve lived here my whole life in the bearden area and it’s a great area. The smokies only being 45 minutes up the road is a big plus as well.

No one follows it and the sheriff said he won’t enforce such a thing.
There is a mask ordinance but Savannah is right. It's barely followed. Especially outdoors. People just keep their distance and aren't shaking hands.
In the city, yes. County, no. But they dont do anything if you dont wear one.
