I'm with you!. I remember that i downloaded the video and converted to MP3 so i can listen to while walking home and after few months of listen to this video i totally forgot it was a live performance until i saw another live performance with this "track" with totally different output, amazing musician, one of my favorites!
Being an musician yourself, I don't understand how you could not appreciate another type of music creation. It requires just as much skill as holding up a violin. He's just part of another step of the creation, and it surely does not discredit him.
The name of the song is "Drunk Trumpet." With scratching I think that's about as close to sounding like an intoxicated horn as you're gonna get. The awkward sound is the whole point.
omg he has to be one of the best on the tables!! that was soo amazing and a totally unique style! i like how he made it sound like there was a special guest playing with that band lol.
I dabble... emphasis on DABBLE... in Turntablism... always hoping to get results kinda like this. I should seriously give it up,lol. He's so effortlessly amazing.... CRAZY.
This is your video that brings healing and emotion to my heart just by looking at it. I also want to be better than anyone else. Only when I do well, I can help others. I'm going to enjoy the good video. I think I enjoyed your video. I feel better because I feel comforted. Thank you. I hope that it will be used as a positive influence in the future. I have a feeling that your TH-cam will be successful. So I think it would be best to keep focusing on what I want to do at that time. . In the meantime, I would like to give my sincere praise and support for your channel, who has been working hard for your dream, to gradually develop into a very large channel. This video has the power to draw my heart and give me a lot of comfort. Thank you for making this such a happy time. Your warm video that resembles freshly brewed coffee seems to be sitting by the window of a warm cafe that melts the cold. I thank you again and wish you good luck. I hope you do more activities by letting me know more in the future. I look forward to seeing you again.
A bit like C-Mon and Kypski, look it up! Love it when artists don't take sht from anybody and make the music/video they like themselves. Comes purely from the heart :)
The people hating on this don't even know what is happening in the music, in the video, in the world. Check Kid Koala out in Chicago at The Abbey May 14th
It's usually called 'hamster style', but it looks like Kid Koala just has his crossfader set normally here - the crossfader is hard right when the left table is quiet.
Watched this in 2006, never gets old. Who's listening in 2020?

Absolutely superb. A mate of mine is a turntablist, and this takes a LOT of talent. Well done :-)
Goes to the favorites, definitely.
A truly skilled musician
It would probably be easier to learn to play the trumpet than to do this!? Great stuff.
