I'm really sorry for the bloke but that voice and technique are rather unfortunate. No musicality either. A good character tenor though. Thomas is wonderful as always!!
Yes, he has the passion and that's a good start. But his technique is not quite right. I suspect he has a lot of self taught training mixed in with school. He needs to find a good instructor and really hit those scales. That will help with breathe and with singing diction. Thomas is kind of trying to get him to sing the phrases on the breath instead of going back in forth in the mask or throat. Scales can in grain that in your muscles.
