    I used to use lures under a cork but kind of got away from it. Those big fish you catch are making me want to try it again.

    I do exactly the same! Topwater / twitch bait rod. Soft plastic rod. And a spinning rod with a cork and plum shrimp jig. I have one rod that kinda does it all for me from soft plastics to topwater- castaway skeleton medium light 6’ 6”. I like shorter rods as I wade most the time.

    So maybe I missed it but were the rod specs for the popping cork spin combo? Also when you use the popping cork on the bait cast set up how do you rig it to where you don't get much backlash? Is it a weighted cork?

    • @DanielGuillette
      @DanielGuillette 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      NavaHo TV yeah a spin rig is a great backup if you get a bad backlash, but purpose likely if it’s really windy/ increases and the cork gets attention.

    What brand fishing reels are you using

    Maybe I missed it, but what power and action are the rod setups? What reel speeds?

    • @TexasFishingForce
      @TexasFishingForce  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I use mostly medium light and medium rods with fast action. All of my reels are curado DC's 150 HG and XG

    Dumbs down for throwing a lure/waste in the water. Good video though.

    Please give left hand retrieve a try… your right hand retrieve looks so uncomfortable/unnatural…
    I don’t mean this in a condescending fashion. Just an observation from the first clip you showed. You may enjoy it more once you’ve gotten used to it!

    • @ReelOffishial
      @ReelOffishial 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Also the clip at 8:30 you naturally were trying to use your right hand/arm as leverage on the fish. Again looks a little unorthodox. And could cost you some fish.
