Luv ur voice, such a sultry, sateen, poetic voice, spoken words from the deps of the river and oceanic worlds, even Mami Water would relish this!🧜🏾‍♀️ An ancient history that has been forgotten, as we remember who we are and where we come from, Ase’

As a Ghanaian who stayed beside the sea for years. Before a port has deep sea repairs , rituals and sacrifices have to be done so that some of the workers will not be killed . Even there is a bridge in Ningo prampram that certain items like a dead body cannot pass unless the rituals be done. These rituals are done before the bridge is repaired.

Thank you! Right now, the song does not have a name. It's the official OST to Episode 2 of African Echoes, "Sinuous Serpents". I'm a musician in one of my many lives so I make the soundtracks for every other episode, depending on the energy. I will release the African Echoes soundtrack as an album, soon!

Thank you for that! Okay, I cannot answer that precisely because there are multiple ways of answering this depending on which side you are coming from. Historically, psychologically, metaphysically, spiritually, etc.
But in a general sense I would say it's as with any other deity, it manifests because there is a need for it. Usually winning amongst other similar deities way back in history, because what it has to offer is more potent and relevant.
She persists because there is a need for her. That need varies depending on the people/culture that manifests her for whatever reasons. But when you go into her attributes, for example in the video, I talk about her mirror, the serpent, etc. These are keys to understanding what wisdom Igbo people drew and valued from her in the first place.
I hope that answers your question!

All of us of west Afrikan descent and heritage revere MW. The Phenomenon that is MW is strong and flows all over west Afrika & beyond. Yemonja has survived from Yorubaland to all over the diaspora also. She is celebrated still today. People of Guinea and Senegal and Gambia too despite their recent Islamic connections

If I tell you the rituals you have to do in Ghana before you have to operate in the rivers and seas of the country you would be amazed. You can't build in the waters without the rituals be done ooo otherwise death will follow you. Even an old Mornarch of the Asante Empire lost his life crossing the river without the rituals being done.

    Yes
The Marine Kingdom is mostly WOMEN - SIRENS (MAMI WATA)
The women who mated with the fallen angels and bore the giants
And the King of the Marine Kingdom is Leaviathan - the sea serpent - which dwells deep beneath the Mariana Trench
And they mostly get hold of you thru the water - or Tarot readings! Be very weary of women TAROT READERS!

I feel like I understand less about Mami Wata after this video 👀
A lot of important concepts are here. However they feel like clouds of topics floating around the direct description and history of Mami Wata -> This is far too metaphorical to be a description 👀
This is more poetry than details.

    • @house_of_horus
      @house_of_horus  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

@@GmanSach Yes, though I included the history briefly, the video is not a historical lesson, or a description of her and her symbols as such. You can find much of that on youtube I think.
This video is about metaphysics. It's about the deeper meanings.
This is knowledge where we deal, with more complex, consepts and primal questions. Thank you for your response and feedback, I truly appreciate it.
