- BMW's latest EV is quite the vehicle. It's fast, fun, luxurious, fully electric, and completely unique. After just testing it out for a week, here are a few pros and cons I've come up with.

Great review! In reality, most people don't drive on the freeway every day for the entire charge. The majority of people drive in the city with all the stop-and-go, uphill, downhill, either the A/C or the heater is on, etc.. Do you happen to have the realistic everyday city mileage available?

Did you just compare any part or operation of the iX M60 to a Kia EV6?! There's a $60K difference in the price and NO ONE that is considering purchasing an $115k BMW is considering a EV6 just becasue it charges faster. Dude really?!
The fact that it’s so much more money means it should charge faster…I stated stated that it’s objectively a slower charging car, even though it’s more than double the price. Lol
@@PrimeAutotainment Now, you’re losing credibility, because the price of the EV doesn't and shouldn’t dictate the charging speed at all. If you didn’t preheat the battery before charging, that significantly slows charging speeds, if the state of charge was high (over 50%) when you started to charge, then you should know that EV batteries charge fastest when they are nearly empty. Also were you waiting in the car using the air conditioning or heating, lights, radio, and other accessories…all slows charging. But here’s the most important point, typical EV drivers generally charge at home overnight, so the charging speed is not a factor. I’ve been driving EVs for 4 years, and I've used public charging about 5 times. If you need to rely on the public charging infrastructure, then it’s likely not a good idea to drive an EV.
EVs are unpractical in my opinion
Unpractical would be for gasoline cars. Impractical would be the proper term for electric cars since it historically came later.
Yes, EVs are "impractical" for long haul truck drivers, those that drive more the 15K miles per year or daily long journeys, those that can’t charge at home, those that love to purchase gas and oil, or those that have champagne taste and lite beer money!
