- In this video, we will do an in-depth review of the Thinkware Q800Pro Dash Cam.
We will show what comes inside the box of the Q800PRO Front + Rear Dash Cam Bundle.
Then we will install the Thinkware Cloud App, show you how to connect your smartphone with the dash cam and how to set up a Cloud connection using the hotspot on your smartphone.
We will also demonstrate how to set up Geo-Fence and how to track your vehicle remotely using the Thinkware Cloud. You will also be able to see the Remote Live View from your smartphone.
After this, we will test the ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) and show you the Day and Night Driving Footage.

Nice review of all the features and how to connect to the hot spots. I'd no idea how to do that from other reviews. I've got one of these units being installed on my vehicle (UK) next week but I'm not sure that I'll enable the lane departure warning. Pity that the speed check feature couldn't be demonstrated. I see that some ppl seem to think that Q800 pro is a bit chatty with its commentary so I'll have to see. TBH, I swung towards the Q800 pro because of the parking mode which I'm looking forward to trying out but I'm not sure that I'm going to have it active when it's on my drive to save the battery. I'm guessing that it's fairly straightforward to engage and disengage through the app. Thanks again.

Will the cloud features, where I can view the camera away from the vehicle, work with a portable hotspot or is it only with a second phone's hotspot that has the app. I'm trying to see parking cam footage from home.
The dash cam needs to be connected to the Internet in order to be able to transmit data to the Thinkware server (cloud). It can be either portable hotspot or your phone's hotspot in the vehicle. After you have established connection to the Internet in the vehicle, you can use the the Thinkware app in any other smartphone to login into your Thinkware account and track the vehicle remotely.

No, you don't need to pay anything to use the Thinkware Cloud. It is free service.

Can’t read license plates
Your video is great! But Thinkware Cloud is pure garbage, thus Q800pro is also. Created an account successfully but 2nd and 1,000th time I tried to log in I kept getting "invalid email address " and never got logged in. Contacted Thinkware support and they replied using exactly same email. $320.00 App and Camera is useless POS!!! No more Thinkware products for me!!!
