nickscomputerfix well i guess the admin is the person where i buyed it or something i don't know and maybe because i have unactivated windows idk i am just gonna get avast or any other antivirus cause windows defender its not a big antivirus

That's the problem, the buttons are grey'd out when on windows defender.

1) Are you an "Admin User" of your computer/laptop. 2) If you have a third party virus protection program running like Avast or Norton..then you won't be able to enable Windows Defender unless those third party programs are uninstalled first.

I don't have an option to open up the app to see the latest updates and definitions. I only can get into open Windows Defender security Center. Doesn't shoot a graphic user interface like yours. I have win 10 and yes my antivirus 3rd party is uninstall

You can not run/enabled Windows Defender if another virus protection program is running. Go to Programs and Features then un-install any third party virus protection programs that are installed. Then try enabling Windows Defender.

Ali Hamza Lak.. try this method.. Run->Services.msc...Check "Security Center" startup type is running or not.. If its disabled.. change it to Automatic.. reboot ur system

Windows 10 Defender is now part of the complete Windows 10 Security package within the latest Windows 10 version 20H2.
