soul stone actually buff all type of summon attack and speed, meaning whatever will add a stack for soul shard will count toward a summon as well. so far i kno the dog from handler, turrent from engineer. Mod such as familiar, tenticle, crabs and knight guard etc will all got buffed by soul stone too. especially for crabs, since it is mod, summon and explosive damage too.

Crabs is good to use if you use the ring that gives you bulwark

Awesome build! I run the same two archetypes, but I run with handler first? Will definitely give this a try, didn't think about the extra perks for summoner! Your thoughts on swapping out dried clay, for probability cord? Thanks

Handler as prime can work 100% and will be more survivable with the 1 revive from the dog. At the cost of the 50% damage from summoner prime.
Dried clay is a flex in this build so probability cord can fill just fine. It will help a little with the summon DPS. :)

For the numbers, Dried Clay Ring, when at full BW stacks, provides 12.5% All Damage. Exposed Status provides 15% extra Damage taken, Corrode provides a DoT as well as 10% extra Damage taken.
Damage Alternatives:
Burden of the Destroyer: 15% All Damage, -35% Firearm Range.
Stone of Balance: 7% All Damage.
Ravager's Bargain: 5% All Damage & Crit Chance while bleeding.
Token of Favor: 5% All Damag. 10% Crit Chance against Exposed targets. (Monolith applies this.)
Survival Alternatives:
Gul Signet: Increase Damage Reduction by 10%. Each Weight above Light reduces DR by 2.5 up to 3x. (With current armor adds 5% DR.)
Thalos Eyelet: 1 Bulwark and 2 Stamina Regen per second for each Bulwark. Increases max BW stacks to 6. (12 Stamina per second, +2% DR.)
Soul Link: Lifesteal when a Summon deals Damage.
Blood Tinged Ring: 2 HP Regen per second when near Bleeding entity. (Self procs with Atonement Fold.)
Black Spinel: Applying Neg Status grants 2% Max HP/s for 3 seconds.
Kolket Eyelet: 0.3 HP Regen per second for each stack of Bulwark. (1.5 HP/s at max stacks.)
Alchemy Stone: 6% Lifesteal when suffering a Neg Status. (Self procs with Atonement Fold.)
Embrace of Sha'Hala: 7.5% DR for each Unique Neg Status Effect. (Max 2) (1 self proc with Atonement Fold.)
Ring of Grace: When enemy deals Damage, restores 15% Max HP over 10s.
There may be some I missed, but this should be a decent list of things you can use. @Ineffable-Muffin I would suggest looking into the Build Calculator by Cowaii as an easy way to theory craft builds. It will also allow you to check your total DR (Cap is 80%). Lastly, I would suggest trading out the Skill Cooldown for either Skill Duration or Damage Reduction. If you swap it for DR and change from Support Dog to Guard Dog it will allow you to have up to 69.32% DR without the Handler skill active and 73.92 with it active.

I found out bleed ring affected summons the day after buying it from him, I’ve been using it since, souls stone has been the cherry on top

atonement fold is actually a great secret interaction and yeah for the resonating heart forget it man bleed effect reduce healing effect by 50% try a lifesteal heart instead maybe.

Hi Vert! I did a bit of testing with reaver and it is viable. The DPS is a little behind flyers and it strugglers with mobile and flying bosses but it can definitely do the job. Plus it is more badass.

Unfortunately, the profane version essentially makes you take more damage as it reduces your damage reduction by 30% at max stacks.
