Im really young and dont plan on having children, but seeing content like this makes me happy that others who may be struggling with insecurities can come accross this and feel normal. Every body is different, and especially after being pregnant and giving birth, the body is going to look different from what it did before. Ik that there's a lot of pressure for moms to "snap back" as soon as possible after they give birth, but thats not possible for a lot of people. I think we need more content like this to go against the societal idea that moms have to look a certain way, especially after giving birth.

Stretchmarks happen i believe because your body cant produce enough collagen to produce a healthy "stretch" because youre growing too fast. This is why many mothers have them.
However, you will also have them if you gain a lot of muscle or fat. Its important to moisturize your skin regularly and i believe there are collagen supplements but many people think ONLY PREGNANT PEOPLE HAVE STRETCHMARKS.
100% not true. A fallacy. A lie. They are normal. They are beautiful. And they will fade to a nicer looking colour than an angry red. Also,
Nobldy told me they would be ITCHY. But they are because theyre essentially a healing wound. Try your best not to scratch.
I can tell im gaining stretchmarks atm because my inner thighs and inner arms especially are itchy constantly. I get no relief.
But also, places like your vulva can and do get stretchmarks. Close to your butthole. Your hips. Your breasts. Etc. They're normal, but annoying. You're not alone and your body is not ruined. They are little reminders to moisturize and get your collagen in!

Thank you because sometimes skinny girls will look skinny again like they weren’t pregnant after giving birth which is crazy to me. It’s nice to know what my body might actually look like and that it won’t return to normal right after no matter if ur skinny or bigger

I wish I had this video postpartum. I felt very alone with how my belly looked, I didn't "bounce back" even though I was young, and because my ab muscles never we went back to where they should be, I still had a pretty round belly 1.5years pp. My extra skin never went away, etc. But now here I am, pregnant with my second, almost 28 weeks and no new stretch marks 😂 kinda thankful for that extra skin right about now!

I have been away told it takes several months for your uterus to go back to its normal size. Which makes sense to be it stretched so much. Over 10 months, it does just bounce back in a few weeks.

I really appreciate you sharing this. Could I ask, does your stomach feel strange inside as you are healing or does it just feel like excess weight? 🤔🙏

It would help if you apply a moisture cream every day

Ofcorse, every woman is different. Some will have a flat stomach the next day, some will have stretch marks, some a bigger belly, it all depends on your genetics and sometimes weight. But i think that all of that is worth the pain, because you get a beautiful baby in the end❤

GOSH, MOTHERS ARE AWESOME 😭 this made me appreciate and realize how much my mom has done for me since day 1. But hell no I'm so scared and I don't think I'm willing to experience this, being pregnant and having a child is hard work from day 1
