FYI, "that guy" is their manager, Rudy. He is playing the part of "The Preacher" giving a sermon in Spanish, as this song is set at a funeral. What you will find with The Warning is that their music may be a bit on the heavy side for your tastes, but not all of their songs are heavy. They really hit all genres of rock and every single song they do is catchy.

Just so you are not confused, at this performance they were 18, 16 and 13 years old. Also consider that this venue is at 7250 feet in elevation. Very thin air to sing and perform in. Since this is the first track "prologue" to the album, Queen of the Murder Scene, I highly suggest do the rest of the album in order, live from this show. The entire album start to finish is a good listen... most of the songs on it are bangers and they really flow well although that's expected for a concept album. It's impressive how good their songwriting is.
I believe this is the first track of their concept album so you really need to follow from one song to next to get a picture of what the album is all about.
The next song on the album, Crimson Queen, is more laid back, a love song, actually. Or as others have suggested, XXI Century Blood is anthemic with an award-winning video.

You were right on with their ages. They were 18,16, and 13 here. One thing I already know about you guys is that while I think this is one of the best albums ever, you would like their first album better. It is also quite good but not nearly as heavy. From this album, Crimson Queen or The End (Stars Always Seem to Fade) would be more to your liking. The first is a ballad, the second, a power ballad. 2 reactions to my favorite band earn a sub. The ages you stated are today. This is the intro to their rock opera Queen of the Murder Scene about a woman who has unrequited love, obsession, murder, madness and suicide. It is from the POV of the queen’s ghost at her funeral. That guy was their manager playing the part of a preacher giving a sermon on salvation. good reaction guys. these young ladies have quite the imagination, and this album shows that. you say you're not that into heavy rock well the next song in the album does almost a complete 180 and is quite soft compared to this song. IF you choose to follow the album BUT its not necessary to enjoy their music. you can always go back and listen to the whole album in order later to understand the story. BUT i would suggest their song Black Holes which Pau wrote at 13years old, and it is about drug addiction. it as well is not a heavy song and has broke some fans into tears. but you can literally pick any song and enjoy it. they are extraordinary song writers and musicians. thanks and enjoying your reactions

Girl pop group, some one hold my tea, wait I don't drink tea, NM. their performance of this song at Lunario is very good but I still say their Foro Didi is the better one, professionally shot great sound and lighting, you don't have to react to it just go watch it when you have the time, then you can see what you've missed. That guy is was their manager named Rudy and he's portraying a preacher asking for their salvation, well it's part of the song. FYI if your looking for a guitar solo you won't get one, anything Dany does on the guitar is an integral part of every song, she's not there to show off, she doesn't have to.
Lunario Team here, Mexico city crowds are much more energetic, what happened at lunario is the crowd didn't know the songs, it was QOTMS presentation so they were in awe, amazed taking it more internally, for me the few Dany solos she does can be enough.....for now, hopefully she has plenty of solos coming up
Interesting that you consider "Dust to Dust" to be heavier than "Choke". I percieve it the other way round, in terms of content and the music. The subject matter is heavy in both songs, but "Dust to Dust" is the "just" intro of the story of the concept album "Queen of the Murder Scene", but "Choke" is about being right in the middle of a life threatening crisis. It's a good thing tastes are different, therefore I appreciate your honest opinion. The new single Evolve that came out today might be more up your alley.

This song drew my attention to the band and Pau (the shredder) deeply impressed me. Never before have I seen a female drummer with such an attitude, who beat up so extremely her drums and still sings with a voice as if she had smoked for 20 years. All songs are really good and live best. All 3 sisters are great, but Pau will forever have this special place in my musical heart. Unfortunately for me here is the less favorable concert recording. Poorly cut together. Whiskey and gogo was much better. Pau sings her soul out of her body and beats up the drums and the camera does not show it at all within almost a complete verse. Here with the song the completely wrong focus was set. This is Pau's song. I expect the camera to show her more. Instead, the other two are kept in the picture for far too long and then it is also switched to the total camera. In the vocal highlights, it is not shown or cut away too early. That's why I prefer to watch the other version. But I prefer to listen to this one. This version has more power. The man is the manager of the 3 girls. I believe Pau only broke one stick. The piece that broke off landed on the edge of the crash cymbal and stayed there until she hit that cymbal much later.

Girl pop group, some one hold my tea, wait I don't drink tea, NM. their performance of this song at Lunario is very good but I still say their Foro Didi is the better one, professionally shot great sound and lighting, you don't have to react to it just go watch it when you have the time, then you can see what you've missed.
That guy is was their manager named Rudy and he's portraying a preacher asking for their salvation, well it's part of the song. FYI if your looking for a guitar solo you won't get one, anything Dany does on the guitar is an integral part of every song, she's not there to show off, she doesn't have to.

Lunario Team here, Mexico city crowds are much more energetic, what happened at lunario is the crowd didn't know the songs, it was QOTMS presentation so they were in awe, amazed taking it more internally, for me the few Dany solos she does can be enough.....for now, hopefully she has plenty of solos coming up

Interesting that you consider "Dust to Dust" to be heavier than "Choke". I percieve it the other way round, in terms of content and the music. The subject matter is heavy in both songs, but "Dust to Dust" is the "just" intro of the story of the concept album "Queen of the Murder Scene", but "Choke" is about being right in the middle of a life threatening crisis.
It's a good thing tastes are different, therefore I appreciate your honest opinion. The new single Evolve that came out today might be more up your alley.

This song drew my attention to the band and Pau (the shredder) deeply impressed me. Never before have I seen a female drummer with such an attitude, who beat up so extremely her drums and still sings with a voice as if she had smoked for 20 years.
All songs are really good and live best. All 3 sisters are great, but Pau will forever have this special place in my musical heart.
Unfortunately for me here is the less favorable concert recording. Poorly cut together. Whiskey and gogo was much better. Pau sings her soul out of her body and beats up the drums and the camera does not show it at all within almost a complete verse. Here with the song the completely wrong focus was set. This is Pau's song. I expect the camera to show her more. Instead, the other two are kept in the picture for far too long and then it is also switched to the total camera. In the vocal highlights, it is not shown or cut away too early.
That's why I prefer to watch the other version. But I prefer to listen to this one. This version has more power.
The man is the manager of the 3 girls. He takes on the role of the preacher in the song.

I believe Pau only broke one stick. The piece that broke off landed on the edge of the crash cymbal and stayed there until she hit that cymbal much later.

I was really impressed with Pau too and she goes give those drums a good seeing to.
We have had so many requests and recommendations and we will be back soon, as you know we tend to return if we like a band, it may seem to take us a while as with the Nightwish reactions but we get there in the end.
We only get a few hours per week to do all the recordings.
