Can you explain to me why you have a bacterial infection with a ph that’s acidic? I thought the more alkaline urine is the more indicative to a UTI.

Great question! While an alkaline pH in urine can sometimes indicate a UTI, it's also possible for someone with a bacterial infection to have acidic urine. This is because certain types of bacteria, like Escherichia coli (E. coli), produce acidic waste products that can lower the pH of urine. So, the pH of urine alone isn't always a reliable indicator of a UTI. Other factors, like the presence of bacteria and white blood cells, need to be considered as well. Let me know if you have any more questions or concerns.

I cannot provide medical advice or diagnose health conditions. If you're concerned about your health, such as the possibility of a UTI and your hemoglobin levels, the best course of action is to consult with your primary care provider. They can offer personalized advice, conduct any necessary tests, and provide you with the appropriate care based on your individual health needs. It's always a good idea to reach out to healthcare professionals for concerns like these. Take care and don't hesitate to seek medical attention if you're feeling unwell. 🩺👩‍⚕️🌟
