Audi A3/S3 painting

In this video I'm painting my Audi A3 in Lexus ultrasonic blue (8u1) color code. I'm using PPG solvent basecoat and Standox Easy clearcoat. Guns I'm using is Sata 3000brp for base and DeVilbiss Gti PRo lite (te20) for clear.

yeap. i did the headlights and taillights with clear to stand out more. i use to do this to all my cars.

Hi i have a question :/ when youre painting your car does the engine have to go out or just covered or is it only if youre painting inside aswell?

Engine bays are usually painted when people are doing work on engines, but i guess of you were desperate you could reach around it, for a full full full like everything respray you would take everything out

If you have money in your engine like show vavle covers, headers and stuff usually if the painter doesn’t want to replace it he’ll tape it up. I hate when painters don’t tape the bottoms of the car to prevent from painting your exhaust!
