  • Introducing the Self-Assembling Mini Engine.
    This engine is a V-Twin design and features:
    -Smart Lube Technology
    -Zero Emissions
    -Automatic Belt Tensioner
    -Self Cleaning Design
    Initially I wanted to publish this video on April 1st, but I just couldn't resist. If you enjoyed the video please leave a like. This stop motion video took nearly 6,000 pictures to make, and between animating, recording sound effects and editing - this project took me over 6 weeks to make without any animation software.
    V-Twin Engine: amzn.to/3r75GOS
    5-Cyl. Radial Engine: amzn.to/3DbShIw

    The stop-motion work in this video was amazing. I was completely hooked from start to finish.
    It was also a great way to explain the inner working of the engine.
    All in all, congratulations!

    People don't realize actually how long it takes to make a short 6 minute stop motion video. This must have taken many hours to finish.
    Keep up the good work.

    Loved how the sounds were perfectly synchronized with the movements, the sloppy use of the grease, the cotton bud dragging the grease over the table & the cloth to wipe it all away. Almost as good as Nick Park's Wallace & Grommet series.

    I tried to figure how the vertical movement was done. Magnets? Tilt the motor sideways? Suspended from a camera crane that was Photo-shopped out?
    Whatever he did it makes you appreciate the art form. Well done.

    • @ajstrack
      @ajstrack 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      3deeguy being stop motion, I would say he likely used a thin bendable wire with a tiny magnet on the end to pull & lift up the screws, then like you mentioned - photoshopping the wire and magnet out after each shot. As a photographer myself, dude did a tremendous job on this video!

    • @3deeguy
      @3deeguy 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@ajstrack That makes sense. He didn't reveal his technique and I would never ask him to reveal trade secrets but it would still require a ton of talent.
      I animated with a vector animation app. The app drew the 'in-betweens' and I would constantly adjust the timeline which affected the number of in-between drawings. To have your computer do all that work is almost like cheating but it was a lot of fun.
