Stunning aircraft. Never seen one in flight for real. Only watched a taxi run at Elvington a few times, and that was impressive enough. The airshow days at Yorkshire Air Museum were amazing. I think the last major ops this variant took part in was the Falklands war. Thanks for uploading this.
Yes I said that about the B-58 Hustler on another vid. To my mind the B-58 being supersonic, 'roughly fifty years since man first flew,' makes it incredible. My all time fav is the EE Lightning however.
Handsome brut, the Victor.
The Vulcan had the grunt, but the Victor wins on the beauty stakes.
Beautiful. Thank you for bringing this footage to us.
A very very beautiful aircraft!
Finest looking aircraft ever built
A Victor bomber doing a low pass while the announcer chats about the mild September weather we're having is the most British thing I've heard today.
Fabulous. Always my favourite V-Bomber.
Handsome but very malevolent looking areoplane.
Vulcan always got the praise, but Victor was always my favourite.
The Victor was faster than the Vulcan.
@@pcka12You’re right. During a flight across the Atlantic, when the journey time was calculated, they realised it must have gone supersonic.

thats when an airshow was an airshow
Hard to believe that this was roughly only fifty years since man first flew!

Reminds me of Patrick Marber!
I would love to have seen that. It’s an evil looker to be sure.
Look how it takes orf
That’s one graceful bird!
Xh669, second victor B2 built
Oh he's poured on the coals and earth shakes....
Very nice but you could get a buccaneer underneath it!😅
Yeah probably 2; the one closest to the Victor being a high altitude variant LOL.
Two under the Vulcan. Fact! They did it at one of the 'Red Flag' exercises. The Yanks never saw it coming!
Came here to see how many Bucc comments there were...
Any lower, it'd be in ground effect.
Beautiful!
Raymond Baxter commentating I think.
It doesn't sound like Raymond Baxter to me. If it's the same RB who used to be on Tomorrow's World that is.
It could go supersonic. M
