Thanks for watching guys! This one took a bit longer but I wanted to change my video format style so hope you like it! Let me know what you think about the style and add your own resources below for learning Dutch if you have an extra ones :) I've hopefully put all the links in the description but let me know if I've forgotten anything as well! Also I'm gonna try to do better at doing 1 video per month and maybe even try 2 videos a month here and there! I work full time so TH-cam is just a side project but I really love making videos and I have so many ideas for future videos. I just wish I had more time to edit! Anyways hope you all have a great week!
my advice to learn German now of-course in your spare time it is very easy if you have dutch and English language and you get 3 language which is great
When I was learning German as a child, I had a lot of help from regional German TV. Topics of 10 minutes that showed you image during a conversation. You saw what you heard. Not for beginners, but if you already have some understanding of a language, you will learn the language used every day.
Hi Elise, weer een superleuke video. Ik ben zelf Nederlands, maar ik word enthousiast van jouw enthousiasme. Ik zou bijna opnieuw Nederlands gaan leren 😂
I Loved Anne+. Another nice series that I used to watch (but i can't find, i have no netflix) is Toon: it's about a total antisocial nerd who went viral...and he has to handle a popularity he doesn't want.
I have been stuck at the B1-2 level but during Covid my mom has been listening to me read books in Dutch to her for an hour to 1.5 hours a day over the phone (I email her the reading material) and she corrects me and explains a lot of Dutch language stuff to me. So I am hoping she will bump me up to the C level soon. She is adamant about every vowel sound as well.
Learning Dutch for my wife- ik spreek en beetje, but need more confidence actually speaking. At least I can understand enough to get what her family talks about round the table. Started with duolingo, got to top of diamond league, then went "meh"... now just learning with the missus. Nice vid.
It's fun to be moving between languages. My Soanish wife - we live in Spain - heard me, being a German, listening to a video with standard sentences in Dutch. All of a sudden, she shouted: But is this Dutch or French. I was listening to a video with standard sentences and vocab - translation French - Dutch while cleaning the kitchen. A good way of associating two languages at the same time in case I missed out something basic in French.🤠

Enjoyed your video, love to see your new content :-)
Love all of this. Thank you.
The French have a saying: A language is best learned on a pillow (on bed). Une langue s'apprend le mieux sur un oreiller.
