Still don't understand how people could like BF3 and 4 over BF5. The gun mechanics in BF5 feels absolutely perfect. When you're shooting, every bullet goes exactly where you aim. In BF3, you aim and the bullets goes all over the place. You can see this very good when he is using this night-vision scope...

Bad Company 2 was a fantastic game but didn’t even get close to BF3. in graphics, Gunplay, Sound and Environment were absolute perfect in Bf3 ! It is truly the best one out of all dice ever made!
The BF3 beta is what pulled me in and many others who were waning on COD by that point, whether through burnout or otherwiae. I know it was a point of contention among BC2 players and such that Metro was in the game and it also was the map picked for the beta. I forget if it was a few days, week or two the beta was up and running. But it quickly sold the game. It eased us COD players who had minimal (I liked and enjoyed BC2 beta, but it was kinda intimidating, too and 1943 was a lot of fun) to no experience of Battlefield. Like you said, the visuals with the Frostbite engine after years of COD not improving but arguably regressing from MW2 to that point was huge too. Good times.

I remember at the time I was a die hard COD fan, and had never played a Battlefield game before. But then I heard a bunch of people talking about the new BF3 beta coming out at the time, and decided to give it a shot since it was free and I wanted to try something new other than playing Black Ops and the upcoming MW3. After that I was hooked, and for the following next few years I poured hours into both BF3 and BF4. Sometimes I wish I could relive those days. Games felt like they hit different back then. I guess it’s me getting older, mixed with nostalgia. Idk. It is what it is though.
I still remember like it was yesterday being 11 or 12 and trying out the BF3 operation metro open beta. I was blown away and I'm 24 now and still play battlefield to this day. BF3 still looks incredible to this day
literally me rightn now man.... I remember that week it was open. I was late to practice every morning. Didnt do any assignments. It made me fall in love with battlefield. I just remember the full auto m16 with irons outside of metro. TOutside metro was the most fun for me

This is the GOAT, probably the most loved map in the whole series and has been since BF2 with the 24/7 servers that got me addicted to the BF series all those years ago. I NEED to strike Karkand again.
i find it hard to believe that dice wouldnt be able to create a worthy successor to bf3 and bf4 but here we are. even a bf3 clone with better graphics would be an instant hit if released today.
The environment is INSANE. You can understand that where you are is a real "Battlefield", The colors, the condition of the buildings, streets and details. It doesn't look cartoon. I hope EA will remember what they did in BF3 and BF4.
Man the atmosphere of BF3 and 4 is so good and I love the soldier chatter when they are screaming stuff. 2042 looks like a lego playground compared to this lmao.

Bf2 gameplay dynamics, map sizes and scale and combined arms teamwork were far superior in bf2 than in bf3. Bf3 fps gunplay and dynamics along with graphics sound and destruction smashed bf2 but the gameplay and team scale wasn't there. I was bummed with bf3 hit and didn't capture the scale and essence of bf2 tbh, I'd run and gun on it but always went back to bf2 even when bf4 hit. Only once bf4 got optimized and played like.butter was it a fun time and ea ditched bf2 online support forcing us to move on which also sucked. I know it's out there on hub but that killed it. Bf2 remake in bf3 or bf4 engine would be a dream. They also killed mod after bf2 which sucked.bf2 mod community was amazinggggg squad with is based in project reality was a bf2 mod and is still one of my favorites when I have time.loved some of the mods.and if they had mod community in bf3 or 4 it would be the number one selling fps imo but they killed it to try to control new game release and sales and look at them now, they fucked up. If PR was remade in bf3 or 4 engine and bf2 modin those engines it would be a massive community and ppl would only buy the new release if it was great and a functional awesome upgrade. I remember playing the BF3 singleplayer campaign. The very first sequence. I was blown away by the graphics; the lightning and the shadows very just awesome! So much better than everything I have seen at this time. If I watch that gameplay video, I still get blown away by the graphics.
Had the best BF moments at Grand Bazaar and Seine Crossing Conquest mode, teaming up with full medic infantry squad. Playing the objective and really dominating those maps. Of course with the beloved M16a3.

This is the best fps game I have ever played. It’s superb. It’s sublime. It’s pure fun. The atmosphere is second to none imo. I loved the small map with two large buildings on either side of the map and there was a small shopping complex opposite them. No vehicles or jets. I used to play with an LMG. IT WAS DEVASTATING. In fact I loved all the maps. They were just absolutely perfect. I was totally zoned in lol. I’m getting goose bumps just thinking about this and watching your gameplay. I would play this 24/7.
Man it simply didn't get better. I remember tearing up some of the hottest kills in my life on squad deathmatch 11 years ago playing Karkand on PS3 to grind out the L85. This game was timeless like no other.
so realistic, no oversaturated colors like in 2042, audio is insane, movement is so realistic and much more slower. Shadows and Lighting is insane. This map is so unique!!!

Every time I see 3 and 4 gameplay I think god damn, everything was so immersive and good looking. The sounds and the gunplay, the visuals, the way you can hear the soldier breathing and grunting… it’s all so powerful in this game. Just the overall gameplay decisions they made in this game were groundbreaking. They really should’ve just copy and pasted pieces of BF3-4 and made 2042, but I guess it wasn’t meant to be. Hopefully the true battlefield 4 sequel will blow it out of the water. It’s so easy to just copy BF3 and 4 and just make a masterpiece.

Safest route for Dice is just make Battlefield 6 like improved BF3-4 with more destruction ,improved phsyics etc. BF4 was my favorite but BF3 is good also.

Loved all the maps in BF3. Omen, and Grand Bazar were top of the list for me. Of course I had to run Metro a few times a day as well.

Battlefield 3 is way better than battlefield 4... Bf3 made it feel like you were a real soldier in war
Actually metro was the map that I loved. So intense. Played with an M60 LMG.
Suppression kills were so dialed in. Controlled chaos LOL😂😂😂

BF2 and BF3 are my favorite shooters of all time. At this point, I would just be happy with bf3 remastered if they can't get it right this next time...

Safest route for Dice is just make Battlefield 6 like improved BF3-4 with more destruction ,improved phsyics etc. BF4 was my favorite but BF3 is good also.
Legend since BF2 times. Unfortunately the aimbots were a problem on PC. Sad they never did a BF4 version.
Man, this game was the goat. The sound of being hit and being shot at gives you a sensational feel without it being real lol

Surely they have to release an updated version of this map in the next battlefield
Notice the soldier speed, it's perfect. Now the games are like your Ussain Bolt and end up playing capture the flag simulator

I miss all the sounds during the matches. Recent Battlefields are so "quiet"
Loved this map. Hopefuly the next Battlefield will live up to it. Should even be better!
