I am SO glad I found this channel. Honestly, you're one of the only WT content creators I can stand watching on a daily basis, and your editing, writing, and content in general is amazing. The style is very original in the WT content sphere and is very refreshing. The documentary/review combo with memes here and there is very fun to watch. I just got into helicopters by buying a Ka-50 and all of your videos are both entertaining and useful for learning the ropes of the vehicle class. Would have watched them even if I didn't own any helicopters.

I couldn't say better than you how much I liked this video... It's just amazingly entertaining.
I remember using the KA-50 first spawn with no missiles and only using the 30mm with APDS and its auto-aim system, let me tell you the chat was filled with alot of wonderful messages after getting 3-5 kills in a row.
Now the vid, just as the Heind Vid this is a work of art.
It's astonishing how you can make a vid about a broken game look like a legit documentary, im looking forward when you move to tanks or planes, keep up the amazing work!

8:09 I know it's a joke but there are only 2 variants of the Vikhr the 9k127 and the 9A1472 which is only a modernized variant with better tracking and range, the missile has a fragmentation sleeve over the HEAT warhead and the proxy fuse is selected in the cockpit with 2 modes normal and head on fuse, it's one of the reasons it has a lot less penetration then the hellfire despite the very similar size.

This channel should have way more subscribers and I think it will. The layout of the video thumbnail is simple and easily recognizable, and the "90's Discovery Channel" way of presenting the vehicles is amazing. Amazing content, basicly as good if not better as channels like tims variety. The history and the modules shown on the drawings made by flogger are great, also the method of showing the suspended armament below the drawing is just a joy to look at, i wish custom loadouts menu would look like this in the game.
Also i hate to see that a player with such knowledge and dedication has to play on such low and unstable framerates, please add an option to donate to you via something else than crypto. Stay strong king.

The video quality is fine for me as long as the resolution is okay which it is, also the most important stuff is covered by some static graphics like the suspended armament one. That documentaryish format of your videos more than makes up for the low graphics settings with knowledge and interesting facts. I just know how big of a leap is between playing in 15 fps and 65fps, that would make the game more enjoyable. If you have people you trust abroad maybe ask them to make a donation account for you and then just buy and send you that in crypto. I presume that lots of people would like to donate but not go through the hassle of creating accounts to buy crypto just to donate.
@@pioter4738 well... im glad that despite its low quality its still bearable xD. i got used to 15 FPS rn, gameplay wise i can cope with it... but i cant cope with it while im recording. as some ppl may not be comfortable with 15(or even10 FPS sometimes). im not sure if im gonna tell my trusted friends about that, as they have to learn about crypto stuff, and they also have to pay additional taxes for the donation account by themselves... i feel like if i do that im gonna be a massive liability to them. they already helped me enough, i dont want to bother them... idk man im not sure

Instead of switching to “Full Real Controls” just switch the “Control Mode” option from Mouse Aim to View and then make sure your pitch is correctly bound. This will keep all your other settings exactly where they were and allow you to spin around like a tornado at the same time. I also recommend a controller or flight stick for helicopters it’s far superior to M&K . You’ll be flying like a drone race pilot in no time

have no fkn clue that those missiles could lock onto jets n shi. I'm fully amazed! Same thing goes for the ah64a. Mind is blown lol
oh yea the IRST auto tracker is pretty incredible! the UHT eurocopter does the samething. though you have to remember. its still an ATGM (Air to Ground missile) so they are used for ground units. u can get air kills with them now but the chances are very low. especially with the KA-50's Vikhr missile nerf. they maneuver MUCH MUCH less than usual.
Im so going to watch that film after this. I have it queued up so I can watch it while doing some PvE

I love the KA-50, every time i get killed in a tank i spawn this thing and get an average of 3-4 kills before i get shot down. The atgms and even the 30mm is lethal, its also really fun dueling ADATS players, they have 8 rockets , you have 12, lets see who runs out first lmao.

When i activate Full Controls i get this strange circle on my screen that tracks mouse movement. I see in the video it doesn't appear for you. Is there a setting to turn that off? Thank you!
thank you so so much my friend! o7 im glad that you really enjoyed the video! excuse me if i did not explain how to change that control mode. but this is how u gotta do it, go to your settings in the "Full real controls mode" find an option that is called "Control mode" and switch it to relative control. this way if you take ur mouse down. ur heli goes up, if u take it left or right it also controls your rudder and elevator. if you want to mess around with those, you can go to a section called Mouse joystick, and choose how much your rudder or your elevator will engage when you move your mouse. good luck and thank you again! o7

I actually do have a little bit of footage using the Hind's rockets at roughly 4km. I don't save most of it, but it is possible. You use the zoom, squad ping your target, aim your CCIP at the ping, and fire away.
You won't always get kills, but you'll probably disable them and scare them. If allies are nearby, free kill assists.
That is some really great skills right there! My brain is simple, i rush and die. That is a really great method to use on the battlefield. Aight u kniw what? Imma feature that on my ka-52 video, and call it the "panzerlite method"

The no thermals really hold it back. it might not seem much, but play a single battle in the Ka-52 or even Mi-28NM and you'll see exactly why the 50 is at a lower BR than other Vikhr carriers
(but! with custom loadouts, you can take 2 Fab-500s, and 2 Fab-250s, for maximum bombload)
yea... i did play the ka 52 alone and i already felt the difference regarding Optics and observation devices in general. but the Ka-50 is just really different now With the nerf of the ATGMs, it was much more problematic back then, more notably with its vikhr missile, right now the entire vikhr missile system is still good but NOT as good as the before , ill make an updated video on the KA-52 and KA-50 soon,

I know this vid is half a year old, but did they make a change so you can't fire multiple missiles anymore? I recently tried it in a test drive and after firing a second, the first missile just falls to the ground.
Thank you so much for the support I really appreciate it! as for the air to ground missiles yes gaijin has recently changed a lot of air to ground missiles performance, especially in regards to the maneuverability of most of em. you can try and double fire the atgms but it is still not recommended, I will update the video once I fully speed the ka-52

Double firing really didn't work for me at all but I still got it from this sale now anyway and it's been a lot of fun :)

soon i will make an ultimate review for all AH-64s, both A and D and YAH varients. but first, i have to explain how the radar works. as for the 2nd question. in my personal opinion, the AH-64D and The KA50 and KA52s are the best options for heli PVE. if you know how to play with them obviously

As a soldier my salary is... around 20 USD per month, and your average PC costs around 2000 dolars. Now add a 30000% inflation... you can already guess why i physically CANNOT buy a GTX 1050 TI... i live in iran btw
Nice Video. In reality the KA 50 is much more maneuverable than in game. Back and front flips are for this helicopter no Problem, it can do things other Helicopters cant even imagine. The closest Chopper to maneuverability wich has the Ka50 in reality is the Chinese Z19-E. But i think that would be extremly overpowered^^.

Absolute beast to fly in GSB!! It was a blast flying it for the first time,im more used to the E.TIGER and Apache but when i flew that thing it was damn eating everything that crosses my sight!!
EDIT:Oh and has a nice cockpit compared to the ah64 still the best cockpit will aways be the E.tiger one
Yep! And the funny thing is that, if you know what you are doing. You can simply farm the helicopters like you are playing on x5 Boosters lol. And i am still waiting for the full HD cockpit on the apaches both A and D. GL on sim xD
@@Bob_Dickinson ngl me(Ka50) and a Mi28 wiped out an entire team after our team got totally rekt theyr SAMs just couldnt keep up,event tho IRL Ka could guide only 2 Vikhrs at time...gaijin had the apache full cockpit in apache air assault idk why they dont use it in WT too...
@@M0LOCK yep... ka 50 is wayy too powerfull in game. And nice job on that sim game! The apache air assault cockpit was really incredible. Though its really old and textures may not fit the game and have to convert the whole thing. And they have to make a seperate cockpit for the A and YAH varients aswell.

Sadly i dont have any experience, or flight hours in anything Real life helicopter related. As being a pilot for helicopters or planes or jet fighters,(even engineer) in general needs ALOT of money, its stuff for rich kids. Im just a poor guy but i have soo much intrest in them. hey ! average KA50 heli PVE player here with a better system, i rarely have a proxy fuse problem ! i figure it might be the low FPS
also, yes being a KA50 makes you god, you can basically bring the light upon your team mates and basically make the mode really playable

oh yea, Bob Dickinson was the name i chose when i was 14. i chose bob cuz i was fat, and dickinson because when i was reading about the US history during the 1776 revolution, this one last name hit me totally different. Big .J Dickinson, and i absolutely loved it! if i ever was/Wanted/wished American or anyone wanted to recognize me, it would Be Bob Dickinson. and that's how i got the name xD

i am from iran, i was born here and fun fact i never even traveled to anywhere else outside of iran... its just that my dad is an english teacher. he gave me one tip and shaped me for who i am. and it was"Every time you play a video game or listen to music or watch an english movie, Listen and Imitate their accent. you do it too much and you will have the accent " and here i am. xD

depends on what tech tree u would like to grind it, i personally would pick the ka 50 cuz i want it for my russian lineup. its not that the British tanks or helis are bad, its my personal fav

i use mouse wheel to change my FOV and zoom, soo yea if i zoom further i can get a better FOV. that is its max though
