Steven Strait (Caleb) is beautiful and, by all accounts, a really nice guy, but he has the screen presence and charisma of a piece of toast. His most convincing performance was an an AI/Real Doll who made out with, and went down on, Drew Van Acker -- which should be considered a career highlight.

my sisters and i once watched this movie, and it took us 3 hours because of how much we had to pause and scream about how bad it was lmao, it was hilarious. we also love to quote "harry potter can kiss my ass!" and a line from a yhara zayd video about this movie where she goes "he's a model, everybody's a model!" every time we see any of the actors of that movie anywhere else lmao. also not the hot guy from the cheetah girls! it's truly impressive how this movie manages to have such a cool concept yet absolutely nothing else going for it. bad acting, no good chracters, no plot??? like all you have is looks? that's an accomplishment in and of itself. thank god for chronicle, it really saw the "magic boys" concept and delivered on it majestically

If Calebs father abusive implications were shown more, Calebs terror at becoming his father and doing to this girl what happened to his Mom makes sense. Further, it helps mess with the role of fraternity that is about accountability and mutual justice.

We were so close to having a gay plot point where Jesse Heisenberg's character, Jimmy should've hooked up with his internalized homophobic bully, Bo (played by Milo Ventimiglia of This Is Us fame). The scene where Bo comes to Jimmy's house to confess his love for him. Looking at the history of the film and the implications of the original script, WE WERE ROBBED! Even if they made it as a joke, it would've been great as a classic enemies to lovers romance story. They had more chemistry than that bland *ss girl Jimmy was crushin' on AND SHE WAS BO'S SUPPOSED GIRLFRIEND! It's so bad that I want to write a “50 Shades Of Gray” style fanfiction about it. It's a movie that wasn't meant for me, especially when I remember watching some horror movies called Brotherhood that told stories about four guys and witchcraft. The Covenant was something I couldn't fully get into even if I did watch it for the first time in 2006. It's a movie that wasn't meant for me, especially when I remember watching some horror movies called Brotherhood that told stories about four guys and witchcraft. I recommend watching the Brotherhood movies.
