The contrast between the black and white stop motion and the original vibrant colors and animation is really something. Super creepy vibe and some creative models (Charybdis particularly). A triumph!
I think my favorite part of this whole film is how you remastered certain tracks from the game’s original soundtrack. Overall I really enjoyed your interpretation of the game and the monsters! Stop motion ain’t easy so this is really impressive.
Cannot thank you enough for your kind words! Actually, as in the game, Rahab is still alive after the ending, so this might be an opportunity for a sequel in the future. Who knows...
Seeing a fan project of this little game is something I'd never imagine and you nailed it with an interesting approach. Stop-motion, inky pictures and murky footage capture the time period while having a touch of corny charm which suits the game's crazy concept. Im sure you would've liked to feature the entire menagerie of monsters but animation is rough. Good work and thank you!
This was absolutely awesome. It’s so cool to see someone make content about this amazing game, and moreso than that so it in such a unique and interesting way! Your filmmaking is so cool! I can’t wait to see more!
(They did the Motion) They did the Monster Motion (The Monster Motion) It wasn’t gross like the ocean (They did the Motion) It caught on with emotion (They did the Motion) They did the Monster Motion
Oh man! This is awesome! This is one of my all time favorite arcade games! I absolutely love how the stop motion animation looks. It really fits well with this game. Oh man I'm feeling out! Never thought I find a fan animation of this little arcade game but here it is. Sega needs to port this gem asap! Hell this game would make for an awesome movie. Everything about this is perfect. Got my approval. It's one of those games that if you play it just once you'll love it forever. Thanks for keeping this awesome game alive. It's fans like us who do this
It would be cool if they had a little easter egg like disappearances at the sea appearing on the news or something like an arcade machine of the game appearing somewhere.
You’re missing two stages and bosses, those being Ahuizotl and Midgardsom. Also in lore, Rahab makes 5 sea monsters to protect the seas, not 4 (Ahuizotl being the 5th).
As I said multiple times, this is INSPIRED by the game, not the game itself. Trust me, I know the game by heart and finished it like 4 or 5 times in my childhood

Wow thanks for the kind feedback! I'm very happy with the final result and I'm glad you liked it too!
This is amazing! Love the amazing stop motion work and the boss fights (rip Rahab).

Very happy you liked my version! :)
I know right! This is one of my all time favorite video games. It's a pain that it's rather obscure. This made my day. I just found it
Unfathomably based, it is so cool to see that other people remember this game all these years later. This deserves so much more recognition!

I hope characters from the ocean hunter appear in sonic the hedgehog 3 the movie.

OH HELL YEAH! I love the Ocean Hunter. Amazing tribute!

Absolutely loved this one thing to say though: YOU FORGOT MIDGARDSORM
I wanted to include some other sea monsters from the game, but I decided to not stick completely to it :)

Ocean hunter is my favorite sega shooter
Mine as well! Truly iconic arcade :)
I’m glad this game is getting recognition. Maybe one day we’ll get a good remake.

cool😂😅😂😊😂😊❤🎉😊🎉❤😊😂🎉
The art style reminds me of the game We Need to Go Deeper and the TH-cam channel bluworm.
Did you remix the music yourself?
Very crudely done, but a nice work nonetheless.
Many thanks :)
why do i think the main character is soulless because he doesn't even talk
The original hunters in the arcade version do not speak either
oh okay😊
This feels very South Park-y
I love it
Is this like the Sega arcade game?
Yes, it is mainly based on that game!
yes it is❤❤❤
@@chengyiji6997 maybe sega will make a reboot someday for this game
@@henriquedearruda8902 I truly hope so! Would be absolutely great!
I would be very happy having a port of some kind for the switch or something.
is this sci-fi?
