Thanks for the video! Since it has been warm here and getting rain the last couple weeks, we have been feeding some hay to let the grass grow some more. We put 2 ewes in with our new ram because my son wants to show lambs at the fair. I only did 2 ewes because that is all we can handle in calf huts in the cold weather of late March early April. The hay I’m feeding has a lot of grass seed in it so I’m seeding my pasture with it. It’s cheap seed along with giving nutrients the underground herd.
Hi George, good looking animals that you have there. I am located in central IL and land is too expensive to buy or lease for farming animals. Sending you all blessings.
On this Sunday morning i pray for healing and comfort. 🙏🙏❤️ things are looking good in God's country. You got a big task with all them tress. Enjoy following keep up great work. May i ask what it is that you do other then farm?? Have a blessed day.
@@Gatorgolfusa heifers are young females, cows are females that have calved, bulls are intact males, calves are male OR female less than a year old, a steer is a castrated male.
@@Gatorgolfusa many farmers breed females at 13 to 15 months to calve at 22 to 24 months. Breeding at about 60% of mature size is ok with good nutrient rich feeds.
