I think fall is the season of burn out, it seems like spring/ summer is a sprint and right when one is looking for a break, there's the last rush to get harvest, setup for winter. Thank God for winter, to recharge. - Peter
Same thing here George, lots a guy wants to get done in the fall, but hard to plan for because there is so many moving parts, harvest, weather, getting materials when you need them and such, I always look forward to winter to rest and recharge a little and play some hockey up here in Canada. Keep at it George you’ll look back and be happy that you pushed when you did
we use a single strand of hitensil thru the wooded ground for the deer won't work for sheep to good so you have to lay astreach polly net just temporary not tied to hitensil just leaning against it so it can be moved easy enough or just not put sheep in that area the pollynet thing takes constant checking and maybe not easy when your working away i get your a mixed mob but maybe separate the sheep and cattle for those couple months
Thanks for the video! We live next to a gun range so that’s just background noise for our dogs. I know what you mean about finding the time to do stuff around your property. I was like that not to long ago for my work. I noticed with my animals they make a lot of noises if they don’t care for the forage in the pasture when they see me or if they haven’t been moved every day even though they have lots of forage in the pasture. My fence was down a little bit to because we had a lightning struck our fence. I didn’t realize it was not working until I check the fencer. Some of the calves were getting out so I thought it was too much vegetation on the fence. I tested the fence and it was less than 1kv.
Adaptive it needs to be, if the farmer goes down the whole farm does too. Trust me, real burnout is real and extremely difficult to come back from when you can't ever take a day off! Animals look great just keep up doing what you can. Our dogs hate gunshots too and I also can't stand the hunting season. Hunters suddenly think they can do whatever they want. We have trained guard dog 10 month old puppies for sale if you know anyone looking
Our dogs are okay with gun shots but hate all vehicles! We use large paddocks near roads. Take a cue from that lovely red cow and take a nap. The systems will come. You are doing well.
Greeting brother. First, I want to apologize for not watching all your videos. Busy here too. Animals look well rounded and love to see them laying around full and content. Sorry you have to deal with neighbors threatening to shoot your dogs. Also, sorry that hunters don't have the respect for ones that raise food for their table. Times have taken a bad course. I do want to compliment you on doing a great job with what you have. Also, for sharing. Love you in the Lord, George. Keeping you in prayer.

Olá bom ver seu rebanho meu amigo 👍🏻🇧🇷
When it rains it pours George. Always a challenge when the daylight gets short in evening. The cattle look great!
Cattle look like they appreciate what you do for them. Keep it up.
This one is very relatable. You can only push that hard for so long. Thanks for sharing and being transparent on all aspects of the journey.

Been near burn out a few times over the years George so I can relate. I know you will get through it but always a battle when in the midst of it
Thanks for the video, George!
