I loved Sr Gaudia’s reflection / comment that she envisions the opposite side of her crucifix as being for her/us in our suffering. And lovely to think that if we just look over our shoulder, we would see Jesus right there with us. Sr Gaudia is such a treasure! Thank you for having her on your program. 'Hunger for God'... Reminds me of a Sunday when I visited Dad for lunch after Mass. I was wearing a tie with the Divine Mercy image. A woman who had a stroke was at our table. She hadn't eaten on her own for months. Her eyes were fixed on the image. She picked up her fork and began eating. The caregiver came by and said "I don't know what is going on, but I'm leaving it alone." The lady cleared her plate by herself, gaze fixed on the image. A miracle. Next day I got her a framed image and she didn't want to let it go. Thanks Sister and Fathers

@@Godsplaining I see lots of miracles in MC. I heard on EWTN that the closer we get to death, the more our spirit speaks. The lady's sister also noticed other positive changes.

There is one thing I just do not understand. What is wrong with comfort? One can be in so much inner suffering, so much anguish and fear, that a bit of comfort can help so much! Please remember this when you treat comfort as evil and a means of keeping us away from God. It sometimes is God’s will for us to have comfort in order to make our sufferings bearable.
SOMETHING TO THINK ABOUT: What was the Spiritual Food for HOLY SOULS ( SAINTS) for many ages?- TRADITIONAL CATHOLIC MASS ( in Latin), TRADITIONAL DOCTRINE of the CHURCH, HOLY SACRAMENTS and many PRAYERS. ( example: saint THERESA of Avilla, Saint Theresa of Lusieux, Saint Cathryn, saint Margaret Alacoque, saint Faustina etc).
BIG QUESTION: WHERE IS TRADITIONAL CATHOLIC MASS TODAY ???

WEREN'T there 2 pictures painted? I've heard that picture when Jesus is blessing people like a traditional Catholic priests looking down, now directly at people- IS MORE CORRECT.
So delighted that you, Fr. Chapman and Fr. Kress, hosted this episode with Sr. Skass. You made her feel comfortable by humbling yourself, and that made her more engaged in the conversation. Awesome episode! This inspires me to go check the Diary of St. Faustina. I suppose there are many 'editions' of this diary, which one would you recommend?

There are two translations of the DIARY into English. One made years ago and a new one made only a year ago. It's more British-English.

As Catholics we SHOULD know the whole TRADITION and History of Catholic Church- not only focus on just one Pope JP 2 so we can see the Whole picture.
There should be SPANISH subtitles in these talks of DIVINE MERCY for the fact that Spanish is spoken by most Catholics around the world; otherwise, this amounts to favouritism for a specific group of countries where English is spoken, and it does NOT comply with Jesus' entrustment of the Divine Mercy for the whole world.
It could be because the hosts speak English, and Sr. Gaudia Skass doesn’t speak Spanish? Perhaps you could make a video where you provide a Spanish translation to all your Spanish-speaking brothers and sisters?
Sr Gaudia Skass-ISMM does speak Spanish. I have been making requests for Spanish translations since around 2006.

I think people would not take into much account informal translations, it has to be the Religious Institution that provides that to as much people as possible. These institutions have the resources to provide subtitles in their TH-cams and they do NOT do it. The USA has a large Spanish-speaking-population.
