    Thanks for all you do for the P3!! It is a great drone so few still dig deep into repairs on it!! Parts are getting hard to find :( Hope many find this useful as time goes on... :)

    This is great , thanks for replying to my email Justin. I’m subbed. P2V+ repair worked flawlessly so fingers crossed for this one. I take it the board is the same one? Does the jumper need moving over? Cheers

    Thanks for the tutorial, have you seen a situation where it worked initially but then stopped working again?
    I completed the repair, powered up, received a video signal, powered down, installed the props, placed it outside, powered up and the Gimbal Disconnected message re-appeared. I repeated the flash process, but all I see it a "no video transmission" message, not sure if it was there when the problem started or if this is a new issue.
    Any suggestions?
    Thanks again

Some times ago I read about it and I remember that exist a cheap that is programated during production.

      Excuse me I have discovered my mistake I have tightened the screw of the axis outside the chamfer.
      I take this opportunity to comment on another mistake I made in case it could have happened to a novice like me. I couldn't communicate by serial until I changed the Rx and Tx cables and everything started to work perfectly. Thank you very much for your help.

      It’s those 2 tiny pads, I sometimes have to try a few times to get them right. I ended up soldering one wire across the 2 pads. Make sure the TTL board is wired correctly as per the pictures as well

    I can not get it to say bootme in teraterm or Putty it just goes through a chain of computer language forever long I let it run before I close it out. It is read on the correct serial port and I checked wires a couple of times. Can anybody tell me why? this board went bad by sitting for 5 months without use.

    • @FlymyPhantom
      @FlymyPhantom  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      You need to make sure you jumper the tiny 2 pins together and to the 3v, it’s booting up (the long repeating text) so it’s definitely not in boot mode

      @@FlymyPhantom Thanks so much for the quick response. I love all the details you have done on this subject. I searched for days to finally come to this post that made it more easier to understand and everything you need to do this. I really thought I had the two BT pins soldered together well and connected to the 3.3v pin. I soldered across the two pins. I will resolder again if you think that is what it might be. The board did bring up everything I needed to fly before i took it out because I did not have live view. I could take pictures and video. The drone was not used for about 5 months and this happened. So, I would not think it would not be a burnt out chip. Just a little trouble shooting when I would connect the usb-TTL module it would start the computer language on terterm and if I pulled the 5v connector off the module it would stop. I did this for the ground and also for TX and RX and each time the computer language would stop when I pulled the connector off. So I feel like those are good connections other than knowing the 3.3v is shorted. Again, thanks for your time and help.

      @@FlymyPhantom The board I have cannot be flashed so there must be a chipped burned out on it. I have tried everything from re-soldering the wires numerous times to running separate 5V to the board. My question is I cannot find a new or used or reflashed board anywhere other that then a option on ebay coming from China! Is there anybody i can buy a board from not having to go to China?

    Hi thanks a lot for this tutorial, I try it and finally the message programing successfull but not recover video signal, I realised that a block was wrong during flashing.
    I paste the message.
    ->"Target: Erasing block 0x0000000A through 0x0000000A.
    Target: Writing header and image data to Block 0x0000000A, Page 0x00000000
    Target: Write verify failed, skipping block!"
    And other strange messages.

    Status Undefined"
    ->"SENDIMG received. Returning ACK and header for image data...

    May be the NAND chip are wroken?
    If you think that it is the case, would be posible to solve change the chip MSIC XY30LF1G18AC-XK1?, or it is not enough?
    Many thanks for your support.

    • @FlymyPhantom
      @FlymyPhantom  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes the chip is fried and so won't take the loader program, the only way is to replace the chip which would mean flashing 3 different images which is beyond my scope of expertise
